The "Dunno really" tier looks like a red herring.

 

I could see Empoof including both Jan and one of Eido/Vaimes in the top there as a concerted move to try to keep his teammates out of the POE.

 

I think most people would expect you to hide a buddy in your nullreads, so the Next Level move would be to have your partners either in your scumreads or high townreads.

Right, and both you and Eido were relatively widely townread I'd say.

But it all depends on what Empoof was thinking when making that post and what strategy he was employing. I don't know enough about Empoof to know either how he tends to play as scum, or how he would play as scum entering the position he was in.

 

I know exactly 0 about Empoof except that I played a game with him once and his presence was comforting.

The combination of MP7 making this vote because beruru told him to vote a scumread + his response makes me think "not a partner interaction" but I wouldn't say no to a second third ninth opinion :V

I think I'd definitely vote if a partner encouraged me to, but I think I'd be too self-conscious to say "now I need to justify it" so blatantly. This looks like a super link-y interaction that scum wouldn't want to make.

I'd like to think I'm not so bad at the game that I'd have the same exact thought process as a faked scum one, but merp.

 

I know exactly 0 about Empoof other than he was scum this game, his avatar is cool (woo Paper Mario!), and his name is a lot of fun to say. EMPOOF!

 

Except it's worse because I'm ~familiar~ with him and STILL think those things even though I really, really don't want to.

MP7 town yes no, I say yes but will consider and flail over stronger opinions.

 

I will admit that Eido is still in my POE because I'm sort of *shrug* about him. I feel like I should be reading him as town, and I feel as though he probably is town, but I still don't really believe he is. I'm not sure how much of that is me being stubborn, unfamiliar with the game thread in a very in-depth manner, etc. though.

Would those of you more familiar with Eido say that he like... oozes town from a tone perspective when he's town? Can he capture that as scum?

Tonally I still feel like something is off.

From effort and all of that obviously he looks relatively good.

From his interactions with beru he looks pretty damn good.

But I've unfortunately given points to players before for what seemed like non-teammate pushes and ended up being distancing/bussing, so yeah.

I think if wolf!Vaimes is going to bite the bullet and try to powerwolf his team out of a bad spot, he'd actually just do it. Kind of like how you close your eyes and run screaming into the dark when you're afraid of something.

Doing something this openwolfy this weakly is just... idk, I think wolf!Vaimes would cringe typing every letter of this.
