I think my peak of Jaina hate was the moment she started weeping in ICC after Varian went all 'Let a grieving father grieve' etc.

It was honestly pathetic and hugely irritating.

This new bamf Jaina is everything I wanted from her from the beginning - provided they don't go full retard and make her actions not her own. She's well within her rights to hate the Horde and can justifiably be hawkish and awesome without being unsympathetic (provided she doesn't go full Garrosh/Sylv).

 

Blizzard historically doesn't do very well with nuance, but with a characted absolutely laced in it as Jaina, they'd have to try very hard to fuck it up. Which they well might.

So the levelling has become pretty terrible since the stat squish and XP nerf across the board. I came just in time to get used to how it was before and eat the pre-patch right in the face.

The subreddit and the community seem to be quite up in arms about it. For those of you who have followed WoW and Blizzard's policy regarding changes, is there any remote chance that some leveling/XP change/buff is thrown around, or is this a case of tough pill to swallow but swallow you must.

 

If your talking about the difficulty of leveling compared to before as in it is now taking longer to kill monsters, they've stated it was an unintended side effect of the way they implemented the stat squish. Basically it was a new way they automated the squish across the board instead of manually doing it like they use too. Ludicrous numbers like 250k spells, 150k mobs they would have to manually change.

They are trying to resolve issues like speed of leveling etc and various bugs that have resulted from this in the next few days. No idea about the xp though, if that was a result of the stat squish or a result of taking longer to kill mobs etc.

Some funny bugs have popped up like an old raid boss now being bald. Makes you wonder what goes on with the code when changing a mobs health/damage can give them a new haircut.

 

I obviously don't have the numbers myself, but if the community is correct it seems that Dungeons, quests and maybe even monsters? now give less XP than they used to, on top of PCs doing much less damage to them and taking a lot more.

It's pretty retarded but tbh I'd be madder if I'd had more time to play the old system.
