For what it's worth, I think the absolute most clearing thing for me is the entire progression between myself/Beruru.

1) They attacks me, when there's a history of me town reading people that have the balls to come at me on D1 especially.

2) I decide they're probably a wolf for it, because they /know/ it's not a lynch that's going to happen, and it's not how they've historically handled me when they're a villager regardless of my alignment.

3) They back off and kind of appease me, talking to me like they know I'm town, and trying to get me off their back.

4) I keep poking at them about it, culminating at EoD2 and trying to get them to talk about the read on me and why straight up to the lynch.

5) It turns out I completely missed a spoiler post they directed at me that explained lot of what I was looking for.

Like, the combination of attacking each other, one side appeasing the other, the other continuing to pressure, but then that side also completely missing the answer that they're grilling them for is just never w/w even objectively.

I'll concede that I do have some stuff that doesn't look great, though imo Jan just played super well and I still like the reason I had to town read him, it just turned out to be wrong.

Probably because he needs more than just my mislynch to win. He's been pretty clearly trying to avoid locking Vaimes in as town because he needs to push that, too.

Like c'mon Stan - look at his progression on that today, the shade on Vaimes for voting him, the lack of any attempt to actually figure out which one of us it is (from his perspective), etc. The game isn't solved to him like it is to me, given I'm clearing Vaimes, town can still lose if they lynch him and wrong, and he's not even trying.

I'll grant you it's weird as a wolf too, but just lynch him and end the game instead of dragging this out to the F3 where you then eventually lynch him and end the game. He knows it as well as we all do that he's not going to win, just is playing it so that he has at least a chance vs. Vaimes by not blocking out that path to take.

I do believe it though. Eido hasn’t ever really been town to me, but Reg and Eido kept doing the thing and I figured they probably weren’t /both/ scum. And then I thought I caught M7. But no. So back to Eido. Everyone else is just town and has been town all game.
