I mean, he could have had rebound sex with Cho. But she might have turned the tables on him. We all know she was a dick girl in disguise.

Frankly, I refuse to contribute to the delusion that you aren't going to buy all four sets of books.

I had not bought a book for years. Then a friend gave me one and I read it in my hammock and it was much better than online reading. Buy books people.

I spent the last ~7 years buying just ebooks, as I moved around too frequently to keep hard copies around. Now I've got back in the paper game. My current struggle is trying to justify re-buying the thousands of books I already have an electronic copy of.

Still waiting for Harry/Grawp slashfic. My mind is ready.

Don't you have a nice second hand bookshop or a flea/book market you can visit? I moved and had to get rid of tons of my books as well, but I managed to find loads of replacement books there to nicely fill up my bookcase :)

I like to indulge and get books as part of a set - all from the same print run, editions with nice artwork on the cover, etc. So often I deliberately buy them new out of preference. And while second-hand places work alright for picking things up at random, it's almost impossible to find anything specific there. Not to mention the issue that arises when everyone buys the good books but never the bad ones, so they end up just stockpiling greater and greater proportions of unsellable dross. Mostly stacks the height of a large hobbit of Dan Brown's latest piece of shit.

I completely understand this, as I have the same (Still looking for wheel of time, book 8 with the following cover:

Where I'm from, there's usually a lot of different sellers (not all of them regulars) and I've managed to find like 10 series of books that I really like :)
I also enjoy just walking through a book market and seeing what stuff I can find, the only disadvantage is that English isn't my native language so there's alot of Dutch books that I'm not really interested in...
