    I have no idea how we'd do a fair tiebreaker and Newcomb's already responded to the other thread. For now, I suggest we just run with WYLB and guarantee Prisoner's Cipher a spot for the next round.

    Agree with BTT - WYLB first, and then PC second.

    WYLB has the advantage of being much shorter (3-4 chapters iirc), and Newcomb is a DLP author so I guess it makes sense to kick this shindig off with him.

    This is totally not because I want senpai to notice me.

    I've been slogging through PC off and on for the past few years, but it's not caught my interest enough to reread for this book club. It's high concept, but I think it suffers from it, and it's not one I would recommend to others.

    Yeah. I read it once and apparently rated it 4/5, but I can barely remember what happens in it apart from the setup and chapter 6. I do recall it being a sluggish read and I have no desire to revisit it, even to amend my rating. I think I gave it this score just for that one chapter which was admittedly very good, but the rest is a confusing blur.

    It's literally in the same subforum that this thread was in.

    That's all well and fine. But PC had the same number of votes as What You Leave Behind. Which is why the thread got made, my post was to shame the 14 people that voted for it to own up and actually fucking post.

    @BTT I guess this could be the next topic cause it's the third vote. We can make this the next topic. I'm sure everyones itching to have their complaints heard in how it didn't age well wrt they wanna bitch.
