I'm not really buying that. Fluff was expecting someone to call him out, so why would scum!him have a plan ready for no one calling him out?

The order of importance for those things is Von > fluff > Reg > Eido.

That would mean he engaged like that with fluff, knowing fluff was a villager, though. Not really seeing that as likely.

 

Do you mean the trying to get Fluff to answer questions and add in things of his own volition, or are you thinking more things from Eido than just that?

Yeahhhhhh, I really like a lot of the thought process in Newcombs posts and can actually follow most of those reads/thoughts. Main places where I differ is with the Fluff read (Haven't got through him yet but I didn't get /any/ sort of strong vibe from his posts reading through and the logic behind the read isn't something that does much for me), and that I don't really have any real reservations on Lyric!Town but I can understand why he does.

@Citrus - I've gone through where my heads at re; Cobalt already. I'm going through Fluff's ISO after Vaimes's so should be done/down in the next hour or two.

Not just him, but yeah, sure that stance of his isn't something I like.

 

Just the general level of engagement. You could, like, feel the strain, feel the investment there. He was looking to get something out of that exchange. It's either that Eido's a villager and he's trying to preempt the usual fluff song and dance, or it's because he's a wolf and fluff is his partner and he's starting a new kind of dance called "Eido/Fluff performance art".

Assuming it's 8-2, I don't really see someone dropping the 4th vote on the wagon for minimal cred and then announcing that they're not going to be here for the rest of the phase. If Citrus is a wolf think it's much more likely that Cobalt's a villager.

 

I know we're all thinking "CFD onto Citrus," and I'm ready for it.

It's also never too late for a Day 1 font lynch.

 

I think this is not really reading into the context of anything at all though. Citrus already announced (Like ~3-4 times) that he's not going to be around during the rest of the day phase, that's just a Thing. So if you're scum, everyone knows you're peacing out and making a final post, throwing a vote down on a random player rather than your partner that's getting run up is just...asking for the loss. Voting your partner doesn't give you much credit sure, but it's making the best of a bad situation. Not even arguing it's a Cobalt/Citrus world right now, just that the actions that just happened absolutely doesn't suggest it's not a thing.

Like Scum!Citrus that's with Cobalt here, who has already stated a town read on Fluff votes who here while Cobalt gets run up that allows him any chance to win the game? It's sort of a forced move if it's the team.
