This is being re-written right now, but two (albeit short) chapters in and it's looking pretty damn good.

Did they take down chapters and repost? The story looks really familiar...

 

I don't know - and the author's bio is a little confusing, because the name of the fic has changed, and the bio hasn't been edited in ages. I think the previous chapters were removed (cause it was published in 04?) which accounts for the many reviews, and it is being completely rewritten.

 

i did not read the story, becurse i took a look at the author favorites, it is primary harry/draco slash, and the story is to short for now

 

its not too bad for now, barring the short length. Hopefully it will be remedied soon, and I shall keep an eye on the fic. Hopefully it won't turn out to be h/d slash (i cna read slash, of just about any type, jsut not h/d slash, there is somethign that is just totally repulsive about it to me) and if it does I will be sorely dissappointed, becuse it will deprive me of one of the few(and getting fewer thanks to those damn ff.n admins) good fics.

Er... how on earth did you get that? Draco hasn't even made an appearence.

Anyway, this was just updated. Pretty hmph chapter - nothing ressolved. Story still quite promising... hope it'll stay that way.

 

Yeah, chapter three's a little ordinary. But hey, there's got to be fillers here and there or the fic will never make any ground. The whole "oh yeah, that makes sense - I must be in an AU!" is pretty stupid, but again, Harry walked head on through the veil, so I can't see it as being completely illogical - like, wtf, is there any other plausible explanation?...

Still, it's nicely written, and if the author keeps up then it could be awesome. That it's being rewritten is a good sign of frequent updates, and that it at least has to better than it was. However horrid that may have been. For now, I'm still happy.

 

Actually I always find it pretty stupid when they wander around all 'WTF is going on' then take ages before finally believing that they are indeed in an Alternate Reality.

The number of AU stories I've read in my life - if something happened to me or I just woke up one morning and everything was teh same but different (you know what I mean) then I would immediately assume that I had somehow found my way into another reality. May sound strange but it would just seem like the logical thing to me, so whenever Harry stepes through the veil/does a strange spell or whatever and find himself in a place he recognises with people who are dead or don't know who he is I almost start shouting at the screen 'ITS AN ALTERNATE REALITY MORON!'

 

Heh me too. In most fics like that they make him really powerful but a complete idiot when it comes to logical thinking. Annoying.

Lol. I think I'd be signing my own papers to the asylum - though, *snickers* I highly doubt we'll ever find ourselves in such a situation... all the better for me.

 

Harry is quite the retard in this fic. First of all he was acting all meekly while he is the defeater of Voldemort, second he was a total retard for not guessing he was in an AU, or something like that. I could maybe understand Harry’s confusion if he was unconscious when he passed threw the veil or something like that. But Harry deliberately walked threw the veil and then when he reappeared and everything was weird he just started freaking out at people thinking they were playing him for a fool…gah dumbass!Harry ‘I just walked threw one of the most mysterious magical artifacts in the world and now everything is weird…god forbid I put two and two together….’

 

The fic is missing and going to the Author's profile doesn't yield any information. I have an old copy in the archives (chapters 01-03) but that's all I can find.
