I loved the Babylon's everything. EVERYTHING. And I'm glad I got all the main characters from it (except Enkidu, who I really dont care for). Its just that I love QUetz and Gorgon so much, that I really want to NP them, buuuut I already got them and spent a big amount of quartz for them I just cant justify myself spending all my precious saved quartz. Specially since next year will have so much good stuff.

 

Babylonia was awesome. Took me quite a few breaths not to rush and apple. Minimally, anyway.

 

I'm at stage 19. It's been a blast so far and I love how the translators are going nuts with all the silly pop-culture/meme references. Story is pretty fun too. Quetz is the best, yes! Si claro! Ole!

All that said, the battle gimmicks so far have been much easier to handle and/or cheese than Camelot's, so a bit disappointed on the difficulty front.

Quetz would have been a super challenging fight had her 1/2 mitigation applied to ALL non-good traits. As is you can just blow her up in few turns with a Castle'd Herc support.

For Enkidu and Gorgon I just Mash/Tamamo/ARTSdps stalled and ended both fights with no damage taken.

The Ushis can be wiped with a handful of AoE servs with NP charge.

Edit: Arash/Arash/Cu solos on both Tiamat fights just to prove Cu is still the bestest boi.

 

Oh I appled the shit out of Babylonia. Bronze of course since I got all those from Christmas. I greatly enjoyed this singularity. Tiamat servant when?

 

Having seen the news about the bonus quartz, I spent this afternoon appling my way through the US story, which I gave up on a few months back.

Because having the story set in the states being something to do with Celtic and Indian mythology was weird, and didn't make sense.

So I now have four days to clear Camelot and Babylon. Can I do it?

The answer is almost certainly no.


On the plus side, I managed NP2 Gorgon, and pulled my first Kaleidoscope, which is nice.

 

You can skip all the story scenes, then go back to watch them later in My Room 》Materials 》Singularity Log (and you definitely should because they are pretty much the pinnacle of Nasu's writing).

It would still be a fuckton of battles, but you could do it in few nights of dedicated playing. I would also try and find some boss guides so you don't waste time wiping on the gimmicks.

 

41 turns....for that 10 tiamat monster thing in sec.t 21. Been pushing through this chapter like crazy the past few days and I just got done with it. I better get at least one good four star servant for this. If it's the same shitty CE for the 8th time I will bite through my phone. We will get the quarts tomorrow, right?

Three ten rolls netting Frankenstein and Ibaraki, a few 4* CEs. Decided to close it up for 10 tickets, got Volumen Hydragyrum (#2) on the second and Merlin on the eighth.

Makes up for the 30 tickets I blew without a Gorgon (but my first 2030).

 

I blew my remaining 180 free quartz. Got absolutely zilch. Not even a worthwhile 5 star CE.

And now my luck is ended.

 

Due to a family emergency, my plan on clearing the story did not happen.

However, did a YOLO roll, and pulled Merlin.

 

300 SQ got me two Saberlots.

Honestly, I'm not nearly as disappointed as I probably should be. I don't give a shit about Merlin as a character, just as a mechanism for combat.

Every time I've been super disappointed in not pulling someone it's been due to me liking them as a character rather than for how good they are.

 

Yeah, Merlin as a combat unit is really good but as an interesting or likeable character he is super meh.

I got a second Saber Lancelot(huge for me) and Nicrotis. Surprisingly, I am not disappointed since most of my servants are art based and I never believed that I would get him anyways.
Now I am saving quartz until CCC event to try my luck on Tamano.

210 quartz. I got Gil Caster, another Nicrotis, and Beowulf. I think the game wants me to have casters, but just not the ones I want... Rest of it was junk.

Unrelated note, Bond 10 Herc is amazing on the final singularity and I would heartily recommend people to put theirs up for use.

My B10Herc and B9Jalter are pulling in great FP right now. The 1 turn 800k damage buster memes cannot be denied.

 

One more 10 pull and Quetzatcoatl pops out. Going to rest over the next week and see if I feel like trying for Gorgon still.

I use double B10Herc on the regular and never get OTKOs.
