Well it certainly took me long enough... Can I claim abduction by aliens as an excuse for the delay?
    :mid4

You can download the archive here! [zshare.net]
Mirrored here [bigupload.com], and here [megaupload]
    Nero's mirror
    Spacks' torrent

It's a WinRAR archive, containing all the fics in our Library (including some that cannot be found anywhere else) all of the FF.nutz copies were ripped using the new DLP.net Template except for those whose authors removed their work, or FF.nutz Nazis deleted them out of spite.

    Compressed: 72.7 MB (76,268,654 bytes)
    Uncompressed: 527 MB (553,037,392 bytes)

That's a LOT of reading to have! Enjoy!

PS: if anyone wants to add some mirrors please feel free to do so! I'd appreciate it if any of the mods would be willing to edit in these mirrors to the original post.

PPS: Special thanks to radioactive (for trying to run a torrent on the last archive), Adam (for reuploading to rapidshit when the archive timed out), Jeram and Ner0 (for conspiring to build the DLP.net template).

Awesome, been wondering if it was updated yearly or whenever you feel like it.

And have a +1 from me.

    Thanks!

I do try to keep it up when I'm just reading for myself, but I also do my best to go through the library roughly every six months or so. I really wanted to make a go of things though once I had the new DLP.net template in hand. I really really liked the idea of the archives all being in DLP.net style! :D

Thanks a bunch, Penguin! Now I can read my favorite fics even offline! I'm well aware that that sounds like a bad commercial line, but it's true.

This may be entirely impossible/not worth the effort...but I was wondering if you could attach each fic's specific thread to the fic itself within the archive, it would just make life much easier when perusing the collection without a particular fic in mind.

Hey Sree, being that you're a moderator would you mind editing my first post to add in the mirrors Spacks and Ner0 just put up, so people can find them more easily? I'd do it myself, but the time to edit has run out on me and I need a moderator to do it.

That'd be a nice thing to have but unfortunately it'd be quite unwieldy (especially given my coding abilities!) so unless someone else makes an addon that connects all the fics in the archives and can be drag-n-dropped in I think this will be unfeasible, even as nice as it would be to have. Are you volunteering? LOL

    --bornagainpenguin

PS: Thanks to Spacks and Ner0 for their mirrors!

PPS: The updating of the DLP.net Template to include credit to the maker of the FFA Template occurred after I'd updated the archives using the new Template and being as it took me quite awhile to do the archives in the first place, updating everything to the latest version ow the Template will have to take awhile...

I added links to Spacks torrent and Nero's mirror, but I think something got fubared in Nero's url. Considering I've never heard of the top level domain ".ogdeffnet".

    Nero? Got a proper URL?

...I don't suppose this is Mac-friendly, is it? I'm saving up to buy a windows computer, but our family uses and has used Macs since forever, and...

    Yeah. Can it?

Macs, PCs, Linux, Windows, none of that should matter. You just need to uncompress the *.rar file the same way you would any other compressed archive. And inside are html files you can read from a browser.

I especially like the "Review" link that works so even people reading the Archives can click and review. They may just work for fanfiction.net slurped fics, but it still is a nice touch.

Like nonjon said, you shouldn't have any issues with what's inside the archive, since it's just simply html and css which should work in any browser...

Now you didn't say what version of MacOS you're running but I know for a fact that UnRarX works just fine under OSX86 10.4.7 which I managed to get running for awhile on my old Dell Inspiron.

If you're still running MacOS Classic (OS9 and under) then give MacUnRAR a shot, and hopefully it'll extract everything for you.

Please make a post once you've downloaded the archives and let us know how well\unwell everything extracted for you, so I can be sure the RAR archive is multiplatform compatible!

Now I can read some of the fanfic that I missed out on.

I just began downloading it and will I need a special program or something to unzip it.
Running on Vista, if that makes a difference.

    Anyways thanks man.
    You are like....COOL!ZOMG!1!11!!
    No seriously, thank you.

Ugh...just checked my Download window and I havebarely downloaded 70%.
    That thing is a monster.

Edit: I've finished downloading it and attempted to open the file.
My computer then says that Windows can not open the files.
I also right click and the option "extract all" is not there.
What program do I need to extract them?
    Help please...

    Edit2: Ok just installed Winace.
I'm extracting all the files and they are being converted to html now.....
Seems to work fine on Vista.....
    .....Yeah it does.
Love the DLP theme that the Archive has going on.
    Great work BAP.
