I don't know them either but I've had roughly the opposite reaction. It's definitely a weak read but I've gotten townie pings from Ampharos here. And if you were going to vote them I'd guess it has something to do with the Gemma read and a Gemma vote might make more sense if I'm guessing your line of thought correctly.

Also felt like a Reg vote might have made more sense than an Ampharos vote too.

Anyways, Ampharos forgetting townies think about where night kills are going in my experience comes from scum avoiding talking about things that are strictly scum. Like, distancing themselves from anything scum-related makes them more towny.
