Meh. Harsh Darius, if only I cared. X3. I also said it took around half an hour. I didn't say specifically it took me 30 minutes to compile her essay on this thread. You missunderstood me, I never stated it took her 30 minutes to type either. Hell if I know how long it took her, I just stumbled across her work and thought it deserved recognition.

For some reason Sy, I just couldn't help but agree with you.

I guess on another note, I found it highly odd that people actually say they plan to send this to J.K.R. about Ginny being a pointless character. What are they hoping she'll do; redistribute the books without Lohan in them?

 

The essay is good, although as I neared the end I pretty much skimmed through it. The author does make good points but I'm not sure it was worth having to go through every passage I hated in HBP again; and I'm one of the very few members who actually liked the book, Ginny's character aside.

So I agree with most ideas expressed in that essay, and I'm not sure you deserved those repeated slaps on the wrist... Except for the overuse of X3, O.O or <____<. Those were really, really annoying.

That said, the Xiph0/Darius/Cure conversation has long ago stopped being interesting, if it ever was, and I don't really think there is much to add about Ginny's character. This makes me agree with Syao... I've just wasted my time replying to a rather pointless thread.
