"I am, in truth, a yellow fork From tables in the sky By inadvertent fingers dropped The awful cutlery. Of mansions never quite disclosed And never quite concealed The apparatus of the dark To ignorance revealed."

I found it easy enough, which is weird as Im not that great at riddles.

Light? The light from the stars is everywhere in the universe, so everything is inside of it. Sunlight is what creates life, and when light hits something it 'Shatters', or refracts into different colors. This is my best guess, took me about 20 minutes. Its probably wrong, but I'm not very good at riddles.

Nobody's guessed my second riddle, but the first riddle is indeed the letter E.

Oh! is it a book? it has to be a book. Three reasons:

1)medical infomation is found in books which is used to protect life

2)There is a book called life universe and everything.

    3) and eventually no matter what the book is made of, the spine will always split or come undone and the pages will crumble to nothing.

I'll guess the answer to be company. A person's personailty can change due to the people they hang around with and also in the sense of the word, because more men will make man "Men".

Also, why are people still answering Dango's riddle. The answer is Infinity, like Leib said.

    And now, my own riddle!

    From the Ancient Greeks
    To our modern day
    I have been worn
And no matter what you say
It has always been for a lie

    What am I?

    No, I isn't. It's not a book either.

    mrInBN: Is it "women"?

Yeah I just realised it had "in" before it...

Now I feel like an idiot, and beginning to think that the riddle's impossible. It's likely something random, which we've all over looked. Like imagination or something else.

    Lol. Very true.

Minor hint: If you think it is something cryptically philosophical - have a cookie and revise your thoughts - you're digging way too deep.

My guess would be a wall or a a boundary of some sort. That answer seems to fit, but not quite. An Egg?

    Nope.
Nice answer though, I can see you've thought it through well enough.

lol, despite the "Life, universe and everything" reference - it is not 42, nor is it a picture.

    Light.
There is nothing known in the universe that is beyond its reach and so everything is inside its area of influence.

It is said in many nature shows that new life is in danger the most is at night because it is very susceptible to cold and it is easy for things to harm it without notice. The new life is said to be safe when dawn breaks and the warm light pours in. Light is sort of a protector of new life.

Contrary to what some would think, the same light ray is not reflected when it hits a surface. When it hits, most of the energy is absorbed by the surface while some is released as heat. In this way, light can be said to shatter. What happens next is that the energy causes the charges in the atoms of the surface to vibrate, creating another ray of light. But this ray has less energy than the first because of the loss by heat. So light can be said to decay.

From the energy that all living organisms use, to everything in the universe. In the end, light is the source of everything and so you can say that it is simplicity incarnate.

    Humanity.

We constantly increase our knowledge of everything around us, so technically the first 2 lines fit. The next 3 lines are typical of the human race- we try desperatly to protect babies but we constantly create weapons to "Shatter and Decay". And the last line- same for the first 2

Necrule: "Light" has already been said, 'tis wrong.

    Inferno: "Humanity" is also wrong.

Edit: I'm updating this riddle yet again - please make it the last.

    Life, the universe; everything.
Everything can go inside me - simplicity incarnate.
I am the protector of new life.
But when my job is done,
    my fate is inevitable:
    Shatter and Decay.

Anything can go inside me - simplicity incarnate

Jesus H. Christ! When are we gonna get this bloody Riddle? Its been over a week already and no one's got it. Are you gonna take pity on us soon? Cause I'm getting seriously annoyed at waiting for the right answer :p.

    Lol, perhaps...

I'll hold back a little bit longer before giving it away...

P.S. Your not supposed to "wait" for the right answer, your supposed to guess :p
