Idk, I don't think it's that unlikely that muzjik is lying about Jari being a witch. I actually thought that he was townfirmed when neither Vaimes or died last night and was trying to wifom that info by saying random shit about worlds where he was a hit.

Uh, if Jari was a witch, and you and Von are town, why would the witches kill someone who isn't the priest and who gives another town a kill?

 

I guess we can probably find out on night 2 by seeing what happens with the save? I don't know what happens with Angels/Demons, if it's 1/1 for night 2 can the demon stop a save like in tinyhunt?

Anyone moving their reads around on the assumption that Jari was a hit should stop. It isn't confirmed, treating it like it is can lead to bad places.

Alright, here's what happened:

Gemma was the towniest person yesterday. I expected her to die last night. But she didn't. Why not? Because the witches knew she was a musketeer. They didn't want to give an extra kill to town!Von (though this does still work if Von is scum), and they wanted to hunt for the priest. They knew this because Jari was a scum musketeer.

So, they shot at Newcomb. Why him? Well, Newcomb was one of the few people scum tend to kill early who /wasn't/ pushing Jari, which meant him dying would potentially make it look like Jari was more likely a miss. Scum also would have known that town!Newcomb is likely to clear himself later, perhaps by catching another witch.

Additionally, it could have been because Shadow is scum. Killing Newcomb gets rid of the main person pushing him /and/ allows scum to push a narrative of Jari being town. This is good for them because Jari was partially killed for his bad associations with Shadow.

Muzjik accurately reported this information and is probably town. Cobalt is town because of his consistent Muzjik read. No, I won't elaborate on that.
