Heavily disagree with the longetivity thing. Oracle is hardly first in line for the scum kill, and killing Cobalt just townfirms shadow.

Why wouldn't a gambit like this benefit his team? How have they been playing that strongly eliminates a Cobalt/shadow world? I know Cobalt's been calling shadow lhf all game; anything else?

And I said it because having multiple people echoing the same plan ensures that the hunter doesn’t have as much wiggle room to go rogue. This is not a new concept, there are many things that it’s good to voice an opinion on even if (especially if) it’s the same opinion that’s already been aired.

 

For the record, I would think it more natural to say "I agree with Hunter shooting Manasi" and not act like killing a red-check is a new and innovative idea.

It doesn't benefit his team because if a scumteam is only as strong as the weakest link and Cobalt would be tying himself to the weakest link (while also costing himself an extra kill each night). If they get to LyLo or something (I have no idea how they would know if it's LyLo) and lynch shadow because he and Cobalt are still alive and the game doesn't end then Cobalt would be confirmed mafia, etc. Like, shadow has no thread sway, if he was gonna save shadow he would've done it a while ago, and shadow would've been resisting his lynch, etc. Instead Cobalt votes him then 180s and is like fuck it I'm outing my role and shadow is like OMG REALLY and suddenly sunshine and rainbows like it's ridiculous if they're partners it just doesn't look like it at all imo.
