So token druid seems to be really good.

 

Meh, moderately effective.

 

Bomb Warrior is king, because it's good in general and also smashes the Lackey Rogue decks that would otherwise go nuts on the ladder.

In response to bomb warrior, control decks that outvalue it and replace the bombs with something else have emerged. Because of those control decks, aggro is held down and more control decks arrive. It's become more a battle of how much value you can get, which means that Hagatha and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius are both nuts.

And all of this can change at any moment because we don't know jack about how the new expansion actually works, and in a couple weeks everything we're playing right now will seem awful.

Oh, special mention to Druid, both Token and Heal, for beating up Warrior. They kinda just lose to other stuff, though, so they aren't popular.

 

Oh boy, another expansion where everything thinks they have the 'broken' deck figured out in the first week. How unexpected.

Sorry, I just get a bit annoyed with every streamer uploading 'XXX IS SO BROKEN LULZ' videos every other day.

Trying to make pogo work is hard. Taz needed to have taunt. Lynchem seems very powerful too. A decent body (lul) and you get tempo back real easy if you bounce back lackeys.

 

Bit the bullet made a mech pala deck.

Warriors being free wins is such a nice change of pace. Also can't beat the feeling of some mouth breather trying to figure out why his dynomatic didn't do anything.

 

Oh so is mecha pally now a thing? I did play one on ladder but I thought maybe they were experimenting with the free egg cards. Deck seemed kinda meh, I crushed it with control warrior with fairly average draws, but tbfair they were playing a secret variant that didn’t seem particularly good.

I’m thinking of crafting baron geddon for all the token druids out there but I dunno if I can justify that much dust expenditure. Seems pretty good vs zoo as well though but not much else.

 

It is a thing. It's the deck with second highest winrate on hsreplay and has 70% winrate against warriors of all types.

It gets super crushed by murloc shaman and struggles against zoo/token/tempo so not all that common.

 

It’s got roughly the same win rate as bomb warrior if you discount homebrew decks. It does look super interesting though.

Anybody playing khadgar dragon mage? Looks super satisfying to play but man that dust cost and mediocre win rate is meh.

 

I played a bit of it, and it's fun. High-rolly.

APXVoid, the professional who only plays Mage, has been developing more styles, and yesterday he found a kind of nutty one. Turns out that Zoo mage is back.
