At some point if numbers start to be an issue, we'll all claim Not LC or LC and force the LC to fire into someone. Or we'll have an unclaimed LC, in which case we'll know the last witch is LC, which we'll take into account and kill Cobalt one stage earlier.

 

I feel if the Loose Cannon is a witch, they... won't claim?

Because the current plan basically is "if you're the LC and in PoE, kill someone else in PoE to help us all out", right? And that doesn't even seem like a bad plan, really?

Oh, but maybe they have to claim if Oracle got thrown out and they need to say something.

Cobalt has claimed DoB though and is okay with dying so the proper play is to Lynch him if we got to a day we suspected was lylo, right?

I'm not really sure at all who the fourth witch is and/or whom to lynch... so yeah. I'll try to keep up more and do some investigation on that front, even if it does seem like we have the game on the right track for the most part.

Does anyone have preferences that they feel *particularly* strongly about re: today's lynch?

 

Honestly I don't get how Cobalt can win with his method of trying to kill Manasi early and then claiming DOB in the process of making himself mechanically forced to die.

You can talk about Cobalt's possibilities of making himself a mechanical master to wiggle himself out of a lynch or something but he never had to tell Loose Cannon to kill Manasi or to claim DOB. He might have to retract the Oracle claim, yes, but also claiming DOB is nonsensical given that we now feel mechanically inclined to kill him.

That said, we're still killing him when necessary. I just don't see how w!Cobalt wins here.

Honestly I feel like the safest option is to lynch Manasi but I'm too disquieted to hard push for either. It's either Manasi or shadow, either way.

I think we need to LC Manasi today so we can eliminate hunter killing Fonti as a world.

There's no reason to use LC right now.

We lynch Manasi & see what happens after that.

The only config where Witch LC is any kind of threat to town is if one of Muzjik or Umami is a witch, and the Witch LC goes off on a day that Last Stand would win them the game (this is also a concern with Cobalt's DOB, btw). And obviously, right now that's a non-issue.

 

This means everyone in PoE also claims Survivalist or Not Survivalist. Except M7.

If Manasi isn’t the Survivalist the Hunter is the last witch and we win.

Like, there is no reason to not reduce the PoE today and the best way to do that is LC fires into Manasi.

The people IN the PoE should not be deciding whether or not LC should fire. Because if any of them are the witch LC they of course are going to convince town that making them fire is not the right play today.

If the rest of us decide LC should fire onto Manasi and they refuse, we have our last witch.
