In my opinion, Flash is bad but Arrow is worse.

In Season 5 of Flash and Season 7 of Arrow, both protagonists daughters (Oliver/Felicity's and Barry/Iris's daughters come fromt he future, with the former being a villain. Based on what I've heard, it doesn't seem like they're aware of each other and neither protagonist has said to each other that their daughter is in the past. Iris also wants their daughter to stay with them in the present despite the fact that both her and Barry and alive and healthy in the future. Not quite sure what her logic is there.

They have already stated they'll have TV-14 shows on Disney+. Just no TV-MA. TV-14 is actually more lenient than PG-13, so they will be able to get away with more swears/violence/blood/lewd than the movies can, and certainly more than what Agents of Shield could get away with on ABC.

Cut out most of the blood and swearing from the Netflix shows and you could get them down to TV-14 pretty easily.

Than what is the point of Hulu. I remember disney+ being the family friendly one and Hulu more general content when they announced it.

    Actually...
Oliver and Felicity's daughter didn't show up from the future, she just appears in scenes set in the future. This season has a secondary story set well into the future, similar to the Oliver flashbacks in the first five seasons, which also includes Oliver's son all grown up. While Felicity is pregnant with the daughter in the "present", she hasn't even given birth yet.

As for Flash, Barry is very much not alive and well in the future. As that futuristic newspaper made quite clear since the very beginning of the show, Barry disappears at some point in the future. His daughter, Nora, explicitly went to the "present" so she could be with her father. Iris wants Nora to stay and spend time with her (if only out of guilt for her future self dampening Nora's powers), while Barry wants to send her back when he finds out she's working with Thawne.

And personally, I think the DC CW shows are currently ranked:

    1. Legends of Tomorrow.
    2. Supergirl.
    3. Flash.
    4. Arrow.

Family friendly. Not kid friendly. Meaning no R-rated movies, and no TV-MA. Hulu will (probably) get rights to Disney owned R-rated movies and TV-MA series. Something like unedited Deadpool would go to Hulu.

There doesn't seem to be any plans at the moment for Disney to revive the Netflix shows as they are, nor does there seem to be a desire to make more TV-MA series, but if they so desired, those would also (probably) go to Hulu.

Would anyone be interested in doing a rewatch of the MCU? 1 a week for the next 22 weeks which should bring us to the release date for EG on DVD?

I'm down (if I can manage to remember to actually watch the movies). What's the viewing order?

^Here's that list cut down to just the movies, if anyone is gonna do that. I'm debating having a bit of a weekend marathon when Endgame comes out on stream or whatever and watching it in this order, figured I'd throw it up here for others if they want it.

It's about 37 hours of movies counting Endgame friend, may want to space that out over at least two weekends...

    Ew, Agents of SHIELD.

Thankfully, you can easily ignore it for the movies. It's awful in a lot of ways, but at least it has the decency to be self-contained.

I figure "start and watch until I get bored or pass out, then start again the next day" and just keep repeating that as best I can fit it around work, however that works out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's too much other material to watch. If I liked it the first time, there's no need to watch it again. If I didn't like it, I'll watch something with a lower probability of being bad.

    >not watching every Marvel movie and tv show at least ten times per year
    >not having a shrine dedicated to Stan Lee
    >not dressing up as your favorite character
    >not writing MCU fanfiction

    ABSOLUTE DEGENERACY!

Jokes aside, if you enjoyed something there's no harm in doing it again to relive the experience.

AOS actually got REALLY good after the crossover with Winter Soldier. I would say it's around the same level as Daredevil.
More to the matter, there are probably details that you've forgotten and can re-experience when you watch it again. If the last time you watched Iron Man 1 was when it was first released a decade ago, chances are there are details that you have forgotten.

There's this show called Chuck which to this day I still consider the best TV show to have ever been made. When it ended, I said to myself I won't rewatch it until I've forgotten most, if not all of the details of the show so I could watch it like I was experiencing it for the first time.
