    Hello! I would like some recommendations of fanfics where Harry Potter does not have any romantic/sexual partners whatsoever. I would prefer those that are plot-driven. I would prefer if they are completed too, though if it's really good, I'm fine with those in progress. No gender bender also. Thank you!

    I tend to look for the same thing and can probably give you a pretty solid list once I'm back at my computer but that will be a bit. If no one else responds with anything solid then PM or tag me next week and I'll work on it.

    Quickly:
    Forging the Sword
    Prince of Slytherin
    GreenGeckos stuff (can't remember if these had romance or not now)
    Wand and Shield (crossover)
    On the Way to Greatness (can't remember for sure)

    And probably others but can't recall off hand.

    If I remember correctly, reign of power does have a one night stand towards the end of the story. Might not match the criteria.

    On the way to greatness also definitely has romance in it, Padma i think in fourth year, can't recall later years.

    With romance, I understand this to mean "romance", not the opposite of it. Otherwise, OP will have to provide his definition.

    I'm not going to get into a semantics debate regarding what qualifies as romance in general. I somewhat agree with you anyway.

    OP needs to clarify what he's trying to avoid more specifically.

    And since the OP mentioned both I'm guessing he wants stories that contain neither? I like to read those too, if only because stories with 'ships' of some kind tend to focus on it too much for me.

    Yeah Ched, I totally agree with you. I don't know why but I'm really not huge fan of romance in fan fiction.

    Maybe it's PTSD from reading Harry Crow.

    Sorry I would like to clarify that I would like for Harry to have no sexual or romantic interest in the story. If there are people interested in him, I would like it if he does not express interest in reciprocating them. Or if there are one night stands, I would prefer that it would just be said in passing, with no explicit descriptions involved.

    In which case Reign of Power stands. The entire point of the brief encounter there is to show the distance between Harry and the rest of the world.
