@CerberAsta These two reads are pretty much opposites of each other. Can you explain why your reads changed?

It pings me especially because Tom and I voted Sloth a dozen posts earlier.

I'm curious what Jarizok did between the first post and second that took him from his most certain scum read to pinned for town

 

His reads feel super fake and static, as if they're just there to say he has them. That's what really stuck out to me.

As an example, look at his vote on me YesterDay. He plops it down pretty early for my looking "smug" then just leaves it there throughout the rest of the day, noticeably not talking about any of the major wagons.

No effort to scumhunt, no reevaluation of reads, just throwing shade and refusing to explain himself.

 

Can you expand on this thought here.

This is just after page one.

I think Empoof gets some Totally-Not-Sloth's-Buddy cred for voting Sloth when there was a three-way wagon tie. At least for now.

I'm trying to play "Where's Sloth's partner?" I've personally eliminated every slot except CA/fluff/Jarizok/tom. I know tom is claiming some cred there too [that I haven't looked at yet], and fluff is both voting Sloth and was self-pres'd on by Sloth. If I squint I can see Sloth throwing buddy!fluff off a cliff to save himself, but as of yet I have no reason to think fluff is scum and it seems like Jarizok might be scum anyways, sooo.

In the easy world, it's one of CA/Jarizok. CA gave me some innocent newbie vibes, will see for myself if they're legit.

The reads might be a little shallow because it was page one slash coming out of RVS, but it'll be good to talk some things out.

I swip-swap a lot as it is. I think I was just doing some one-off reads, but hard telling? Obviously not a great one. Also, I've posted a more up-to-date version of my current reads! Jarizok was a Null for me.

You still don't have Empoof anywhere but it probably doesn't matter if you're sheeping.

 

Thought jarizok had something new about why terrains was sloths partner besides the observation that’d already been talked about there. Still think jari’s post to Mendel that I talked about yesterday just felt wrong. I’m going to bed though. My brain quit on me awhile ago.

I don’t have a town read on keldeo but I feel like I should have a town read on keldeo if that makes sense.

Must've been oscillating between Null and Scum for Empoof, labeled Null for now.

Not really a thought process for the read change. Early on, I was pretty set on Jarizok because there hadn't been much action of any kind. I eased off a little (I think Jari stopped posting as frequently for one or two days of Day1 and there was quite a bit of focus on Sloth. I genuinely couldn't see what Sloth could gain from immediately dropping in, becoming the center of attention, and abrasively directing the conversation in an obvious way so I never really got a solid read on him. Fluff and Cobalt wound up as my focus for a couple of one-off posts and Jarizok fell pretty hard to the wayside.)

Now I'm kind of just following other leads and trying my best to observe while being p obvs bad at it.

 

Think on keldeo it’s just a feeling of really hunting for sloths teammate, and it gives the feel of hunting the other team, and that kinda wigs me out. And yes, I completely understand that it’s optimal to remove sloths partner to reduce night kills all that yada yada, so maybe this feeling is a little unfair, but it’s also a big trap scum fall into when it’s multiball of some kind. So that kind of pointed focus concerns me.

I had an earlier thought that their might be a keldeo/jarizok team going on but probably not actually.

 

I don't really have rankings, but Keldeo saying "we need to focus" made it sound more like an attempt to control the narrative rather than open transparency of goals in "I plan to focus"

 

Tell me, has CA been giving you a newbtown or newbscum vibe this game?

I was a little overambitious in thinking I could read half the thread tonight. I'd really rather not sacrifice sleep for a game when I have to be on my feet all day tomorrow.

If I don't get lunched toDay, I think I might just focus on real-time interactions while rereading very sporadically, and doing an actual reread at Night.

tom is >rand on scumteam #2. Haven't reassessed Ter's opening attack on him toDay, might have to chalk it up to her just having a weird tone. I don't even remember the last game we played together.

 

Minor note on Tom. Kinda felt peformatively looking for both teams.

 

Though hopefully my content is at least a little better than lurkbalt. :V

If tom is scum, I managed to rule out everyone except fluff/CA/Keledo. fluff is fluff and needs to be explored, kinda leaning on newbtown for CA. Dunno what the deal with Keledo is but Tammy is currently side-eyeing him so that's neat.
