I first used Jarizok for a WoW character (Druid). JA are my initials, ri cos druid, and zok because I though it sounded cool and in keeping with Lok’tar Ogar. I’ve been using it pretty much everywhere ever since cos it’s never taken.

Well mine is a bit more embarrassing. Mixed and matched the names that I liked with a Summers last-name cause I was a bit too much of a fan of Buffy.
Oliver Colin Summers = ocsummers. Then after a while it got shortened to ocs, then after even a longer time it turned into Oakes, which is pronounced exactly the same way, and remind me less of my childishness.

Even my character name in basically evergame Caellan comes from a variaton of the name Colin.

I used it on Sufficient Velocity when I was writing a quest and made it the same here in the event I needed to have consistency. It’s also a similar for to my imgur username, but I haven’t been on that site in ages.

I was an edgy boi and interested in French and I looked up nightfall/dusk (la tombée de la nuit) and butchered it into NuitTombee. I've only recently asked for it to be changed to Nuit by itself.

The name that I have been using for the last 20 years has been CB, pronounced as the two separate letters.

Almost all online systems where you can enter a name have a >3 character requirement, so I often choose to use Ceebee, a phonetic spelling of CB.

No that wasn't it. Likely an homage to one of the Medici patriarchs or something. High school me was weird.

I was originally The Salsa Sorcerer because I wanted a name that sounded ‘cool’ but not edgy.

Everyone called me Salsa so I changed my name to that.
