I really hope they pull out all the stops. Craig deserves a good sendoff.

 

Man, that looks fucking righteous. Rami Malek seems a great choice for the villain.

 

Love the fact that this is set up as a sort-of sequel to Spectre.

As someone who engaged deeply with the Craig films and multiple aspects of their “Bond-ness” for my academic work back when Spectre came out, I am really looking forward to see what they have come up with for this one.

 

I'm hopeful that Malek will be able to be the first Craig bond villain I like since Mikkelsen.

 

I'm going to be honest, the trailer reminds me of Quantum of Solace. I recognize the faces of a lot of the Bond side-characters from the previous movies, but I can not remember specific plot-points about them or what I'm supposed to think about them.

 

Me too, and that's really what has me at half-mast already.

I'm down with that movie. Not sure I'm gonna bother to see it in theaters, but it looks like fun nonetheless.

 

That was exactly what I thought when watching. Looking forward to a fun romp to spend a couple hours of downtime.

 

First half the trailer looked good, second half generic as hell

 

That looks great fun, although I really hope Kristen Wiig isn't doing her typical awkward comedy schtick as Cheetah. That just... wouldn't work.

 

I'm honestly getting a Catwoman from the old Keaton Batman films vibe. Something crazy turns her into cheetah.

Good trailer, good trailer music. It’s Gal Gadot, and the first Wonder Woman was basically DC’s only success (despite its two glaring flaws) outside of Nolan’s movies. Frankly, I’m excited to see it, but I’m bracing for whatever brand of bullshit DC will pull to fuck this one up.

I’m also very, very tired of superhero movies. I think DC got on that train too early and too late and when they did finally get on the second time, they fucked it up.

The original Steve comes back to life... somehow? Lasso!whip action! Tiara boomerang action! Nerdy girl transforms into catwalk girl by taking off her ugly glasses and getting her hair done! Motivational speaker with a fetish for New Age crystals action! Lightning swinging action? WTF?!

So many questions about the actual plot. However, I'll probably still enjoy it.

 

Current bar for DCEU (are they still doing the Marvel thing?) is Aquaman. WW has to be at least as fun as that if it wants to get attention.
