Can someone who has more experience with Grapefruit talk to me about the difference in his scum and town games?

I know tom agreed with Cuth about him coloring in a picture, but that doesn't really apply to what I'm interested in. I'm worried that I'm liking him for being a bit out there, relative to the thread, with the targets of his reads and also somewhat undermining his own impact - the early tom read and his recent read on me are the two centerpieces of this - but he wouldn't actually be scared to do those things as mafia.

(grape, I'm gonna follow up on this question, pinky swear)

This reasoning checks out with his EOD posting, and with his post to me about how he thought Gemma was contradicting herself. I'm fine with that.

What would make the conversation between Cuth and tom about this post extremely funny is Cuth/tom/Fluff being the exact wolf team here again and using their previous experience to buoy Fluff. But I don't think that's the case. :p

For the record for anyone who's interested in looking at the MCU game for reference on wolf Fluff (which I guess... probably isn't a lot of people) from what I can tell, his team helped him write most of his substantive posts, starting at like #738.

Huh, actually, the fact that MP7 only talked about putting genuine emotion into the thread in his follow-up about the “having trouble cheerleading” post makes me think that he might not really consider doing what I thought he’d do as mafia.
    --- Post automerged ---
i.e. Cuth’s original read, but not to that strength.
Sorry, this doesn’t really answer my question because it is a bit theoretical. I understand what you mean about not really putting on an act. Could you talk about how his posts made you see his desires and motivations?
    --- Post automerged ---
MP7, could you briefly walk through your Umami progression before the start of EOD?

    :)

I’ll be back in the afternoon Pacific time.

If I get the slot filled quickly, I'll extend the deadline by 24 hours.

If not, then it will be an overNight replacement.

Did a quick skim and...you guys need to stop writing so much. Ok, gonna reassess a few things.

Wanted Osie to reply first without being able to rely on you to give him a line.
He has, and I don't like it.
Go ahead and respond now, I want to see what you've got.
    --- Post automerged ---
P.S. @Rhand and @tom how do you feel about Osie's play currently?

Cause might I interest @all in a new wagon maybe?

I dont really have individual thoughts on osi, but he is pretty fun to vote
    Vote osi

This might apply for some sorting on the lower end of reads but i dont think theres actual profit in hiding townreads

Tom, how do you feel about sloth?
    --- Post automerged ---
Town-led wagon on Umami seems plausible given how she was going around pushing people's buttons in terms of reads? And was very much a case of vocal influential people all deciding to move rather than agitation and slow buildup, but I don't know. Just musing based on people's reactions to Umami earlier on.

    I thin
Still think this posts feels a little slimy, but maybe it's because I was never confused about what I was saying-- was in the context of saying "keldeo here looks like keldeo there", and this felt on the reachy side.

    Largely ambivalent.

He feels a little muted, but its early still.

Largely developing a backdoor read. Where he and rhand arent buddies and if osi is scum theyre probably both town so its almost a trichotomy (though of course nothing eliminating v/v/v so really a quadrochotomy)

    Ill keep you posted.

After reading through Seratin... I think that Seratin does not appear particularly engaged. (Hypocritical, I know.)

In terms of him being scummy, it depends on the alignments of others for me. Since most of those others are townie to some degree or other, I'd say that Seratin leans scum for me. Not a strong scumread, but definitely a scumlean.

I don't know that I've seen him successfully scum very well in a while. (No offense to Grapefruit.)

I think my way of telling things apart for him was a matter of linking him to others, since he tended to flub one way or another on interactions. Either too much or not enough. Been a while, though.

It's not simple to explain, but essentially, Rhand is operating on an agenda in any game. So far, I don't think that Rhand's agenda this game isn't just solving.

@Keldeo - Can you talk to me about Sloth and about tom?
@tom - Same question but Sloth and MP7.

...This is a really long, really waffling post, tom.
One of these days I gotta ask you to self-meta your scum game for me. (outside of a game, that is.)

Why do you think M+7 wouldn't do that to his buddies? (i.e. keldeo/mp7 not a thing)
    --- Post automerged ---
Sorry, I didn't mean that you said it was gross reasons, I meant that you used the word gross when describing it in #616: "Umami's sheer refusal to commit to a read is very gross."
Can you talk more on why someone not having set reads at this time was gross/not genuine/etc.?
What I'm trying to say is, waffling isn't commonly thought to be scummy, at least not early game afaik. Wanna know more about what you were thinking.

Noted on Miner. You had him as a light scumread, but you didn't want to vote him, correct?
Follow up, if Umami hadn't been a thing, who would you had voted for?
    --- Post automerged ---
    hm...okay.
Back to fire: How did you progress on him, exactly? Much like my question about Umami, but at least this one has very few posts so won't take long!
    --- Post automerged ---
...but all those yesterDay posts you're talking about you strongly townread me for. That's not a mindmeld, I think, more like he swayed you?
Also that bolded part - I'm assuming you're talking about Rhand? I asked you about your read/progression on me and the examples you had to back up that read. Don't redirect.
Nope. He didn't. And you were here experiencing it in real time so you know he didn't: Every instance of lack of follow-through he brought up I pretty clearly shut down, unless you want to prove me wrong?
If you have another example of that, I'm waiting.
I also asked about any other specific parts of his case you agree with, so there's that too.

Everything else is pretty meta, so, fine.

Man, am I happy with my vote right now.

    VOTE: Seratin

Seratin seems likely scum, and it solidifies my reads on at least 3 other players.

    Where?

why do you really want me in on this conversation is it just that you dont know what to say by yourself

    Votecount 2.3

    Osieorb18 (2): Sloth, tom
    Keldeo (2): Cuthalion, Grapefruit21
    Sloth (1): Rhand
    Grapefruit21 (1): Miner

Sloth I missed one post by you on and I'm probably okay on that front, since that one post ties into my semi-read on him. MP7 I'm wondering what you think in terms of whether or not he seems agenda-driven. I'm currently conditionally townleaning him.

In fact, you were specfically asked about it, and responded (though skirted around the response itself)
