No, I read it. I think I'm coming around on a read on you, and I'm deep-diving in your posts as we speak. I'm mostly just uncomfortable with two things, one of which tom has addressed as well:

1) There aren't many slots on which I would really call you aggressive, particularly in the early game. And when you are more aggressive than average, it's wrong. (Obviously if you are town, you can't know this for sure, but it's not a good look.)

2) You spend A LOT of time on self-defense. Like, I haven't read through everything, but I wouldn't be surprised if more of your content is self-defense or fluff than reads or hard pushes, with a medium-to-small percentage dedicated to soft questioning. This somewhat ties in for me to the previous point. Why is your "aggression", if we're going to call it that, so oddly focused?

 

Osie, can you talk to me about your progression on tom? You started out disliking grapefruit's push there, then you said you thought there was a wolf between grape/tom, voted tom, said you were flip-flopping wildly and wanted other people's opinions, and I don't think you've done much of anything with that today?

 

1) Still waiting for anyone to define aggressive and why, so cool.

2) ....I've had exactly one self-defense post, that's been 841. If there's others, ok, I guess I'll wait?

Im a little less nimble and nuanced as scum. But also wildly aware of that.
My progression is a little more linear because im less likely to forget what i thought, but ive been rereading my own posts more as town lately so that might not work anymore.
For a little while i had a tell of being less trolly as scum. Think ive shored that up completely.

Since m+7 admits to it, i think we can call this fact as either alignment:
His read of keldeo is meant for keldeo

So if m7 is town its as it seems on the surface: he strongly believes keldeo is town and wishes him to see that and recognize him for his towniness and skip off together into the towncore sunset

But if hes a wolf it has much the same intention. Might call it pocketing, or forced camraderie, or some kind of mirroring. But its decidedly intended to influence keldeo. Thus, keldeo is town.
Wouldnt really go this far usually but its such an extreme example even in an iso full of that sort of thing.

Basically, its not a thing that wolfm7 wouldnt do with a partner. Its a thing he WOULD do to town

Also, this is probably a weird question, but can you tell me about how you feel about being pushed this game? I'm not looking for counterarguments or reasons, just like... emotions. Feels.

yeah, that's what I meant: It's why I asked if you had any cases/scumread on her prior to that post - I'm looking at the root of player's reads on Umami's and yours seemed to start there.
But, I'm also feeling stuck here and is getting us nowhere, so eh.

I'm at a null to slight townlean with a half billion tinfoils. Every time I read tom in this game I think I see a sign in one direction or the other. I think overall, with a grain of salt, since I think tom's performing monkey act is less present, he's a slight townlean, but the more that he unsuccessfully tries to push my buttons the more willing I will be to lynch him anyways (especially after saying this).

As for being pushed, I don't? Rhand's case was wrong, and one thing I'm pretty sure I did is dismantle his main point.
Osie is the only one who seems to be taking it seriously, and I'm pretty sure that's just opportunistic scum, though I'm trying to make sense of it. What he claims is self-defense is actually me prodding him.
Aside from that, I guess vaguely mystified and keeping headcount of how many times the word aggressive is used?

Aggressiveness is a toneread from people. So yeah, unfortunately, you're not going to get a good definition.

I'm somewhat trying to decide if you're CFTWR or just frustrated town, and the fact that your ISO is as light but long as it is does not help me in this regard.

I don't really think it's "slimy"... both Sloth and Gemma got confused about it, anyway. I think the reason that your original post might have been confusing is that the tone/phrasing of "Because this game I'm getting Black Widow all over again", coupled with the question about how I play as mafia, made it seem like you were expressing a mafia read on me. Therefore - "But Black Widow was town."

CFTWR is "caught for the wrong reasons" i.e. you're mafia but people's reasons are bad in your opinion, so you're upset you're being scumread for it.

Okay, so I expected to be here earlier than now, but that's fine. I should be able to thread sit until EOD.

 

I think that @Rhand has a good point that a readlist just tells scum how accurate people are in their reads and then scum will give the shot to someone who is relatively inaccurate. That said, halting reads from the one role in a mostly mountainous game? That's probably suboptimal. So I'm thinking that we have to mostly ignore that and play into it.

I just need to sort sloth, tom and Cuthalion to have a full set of reads. Gamestate reading is mostly leaning in the same direction as individual reads for me, which is a good sign. I just looked at the setup as originally ran on MU, and the scumteam should have 3 members. I already have a decently likely 3 member team outside of sloth, tom, and Cuthalion, but I want to consider mix and match with those 3 in the picture. Cuthalion's the only one on whom I have actually nothing in the way of a read.
