Sloth looks to be on the defensive at low levels of provocation, which is concerning to me. I think that they spend a lot more effort when they're focused on self-defense than they do on pushing and on questions. That said, that could also be an attempt to pull people to interact with them. I've been trying to judge if they are town who is frustrated because they feel that some of their questioning is going unanswered, or scum who feels that they can't get out of being scumread, despite not having a heck of a lot of pressure on them. At the moment, I think I wouldn't want Sloth living into LyLO, but I'm willing to ride things out for today at least, and it feels like there are better places to push for the time being.

 

I feel like you and I have really found each other as town, which makes me really happy given how we started out, but I think it's notable we're coming to such stark opinions on Keldeo. Maybe we should talk more about it.

I really need to do that Osi ISO though.

Holy FUCK, I just realized that "Osi ISO" that is a palindrome, that's amazing.

 

I can't say I've thoroughly read each of Sloth's posts, but given that he asked me questions about the two-thirds of the posts I made d1 that keldeo didn't I think saying he's mostly been focusing on self-defense (apart from after the case by Rhand which is entirely understandable) is a fairly significant mischaracterization.

 

There can be no difference from game to game (or alignment to alignment) in self awareness when its already a fully maxed out stat.

No. My read on tom has been very uncertain throughout the game, and has been warming up from neutral into a townread. Grapefruit's read on tom has been very rigid throughout the game, and changed very abruptly from a strong scumread into a townread. That's the difference on which I commented.

 

How does Sloth normally behave as either alignment when under pressure?

Lol, I can 100% relate to this.

 

It's worth noting that I haven't really gone over him at depth, but he's ended up at the bottom of the pile insofar as he's lower than "i have no clue i'll try to sponge reads from people who know these people". I think he's actually miles villagerier than Osie atm, but I don't want to belabor that too much until we have time to talk. I didn't like some things he handled early d1 looking back on them today, but not sure now's the best time.

 

@M Plus 7 Even if your tiers are alphabetical we're in pretty heavy disagreement. I had 2 of your GTH reads as scum. Also I realized I left you off and you'd be with Rhand roughly.

Real talk, that being the primary point against seratin is the reason i wouldnt lynch the slot today.

Hmm. A Cuthalion/Fluff/??? world is not out of the picture for me, but I'm looking back at Fluff to see if I see what others are seeing.

 

As someone whose style is vaguely similar in the broad strokes and who's talked recently about this sort of thing with tom, I concur with this entirely. My consciousness at any given point about how my posts come across doesn't really shift with alignment, and it's definitely not a valid read with tom.

 

I think you're mischaracterizing my thoughts in that case. I don't think that "he's mostly been focusing on self-defense." I do think that "when he's been focused on reads, it's felt like less effort than when he's been focused on self-defense."

Yeah, same really with not having looked at in depth. This helps though. I'll inevitably be doing ISOs of everyone, just haven't yet, probably tomorrow assuming I'm still here because gun phase seems like an amazing time for that.

I also am fully cognizant I could be having him as a blind spot -- but more likely I just feel like he and I are more synced on some level than I am with everyone else in this game. I consistently just think OMG YOU'RE TOWN across a lot of posts he makes. So even though he isn't completely reciprocating that town read back onto me, it's hard for me to shake that feeling enough to want to even think about lynching him on Day 2. In fact, I actually sort of like that he's been keeping a healthy tinfoil of me all game and not just reciprocated me because it feels like he's genuinely projecting scum range onto me (as he noted earlier, it seemed totally legit as an explanation).

 

This is my first game playing with him. I don't know.

 

You're right, my bad, though I believe the other claim has been made this phase. That said, I think that's entirely understandable and not very AI in any case?
