Ok but like really, reading p.7 atm and this literally looks / sounds like a completely different person than Wisp.

    What gives?

Anyways, I have to head to work
I'll try to be around near EoD to make sure a majority is achieved. If it has to be me, then whatever!

    Yes it's a real question.

You said you thought you had a wolf read on me but it was actually a Cuth post. Why does that not translate to a FOS on Cuth?

    Continuing:

I agree with Rubicon’s assessment of Gemma’s behavior in #244 but disagree on the alignment read of it. I’ve seen that come from scum Gemma before so it doesn’t indicate town to me.

Another bizarre Tom post that has little content. Pinging me.

I don't think that's the world we're in, mainly because I've been following / tracking with his thought process throughout the last few posts I've read on this page. I'd have to do a more in-depth analysis to provide any major substantiation, but short answer is I see it and it makes sense as something someone in his position would think.

Tom’s vote on Rubicon looks really opportunistic given the way Gemma was discussing him.

Cuth reading Wisp for filth is a good look.

Fonti Wisp vote comes at a good point for necessary pressure.

I literally have no idea what Wisp is talking about anymore.

Dels good re-entrance, although in regard to this one post in particular:

@Dels that’s basically what Fluff does early on and I always get caught in the trap of scumreading him for it but it’s basically NAI.

I feel like the last bit should be self-explanatory.

I really want to kill Wisp with fire.

I don’t really know what to make of the exchange between Ter and Waco. I don’t even remember a post from Waco that pinged me. Why did he have 5 votes at this point?

    Tom is very contrived.

    Sloth is fine I guess.

Amy replaces in anndddd I’m basically caught up. Reads list coming.

So another person that is dying on this 'Wisp is already a wolf", so I will associate anyone poking at him to be town!

Don't really have anymore time to say much, so what happens, happens. All I can say is I guess I won't use exclamation marks anymore because they are wolfy for me apparently!

    Vote: Tom

Short of it: Tom has been the opposite of forthcoming with his reads, his posts lack substance and are snipey in a way that I've seen scum Tom do before.

I want to kill Wisp with fire and will most certainly be voting him before deadline if we need the majority.

People always townread fonti. It's her superpower.

I'll switch over to the Wisp wagon after the next vote count update. He's the most likely candidate for wolf right now and I'm comfortable sending him through the death gate into the great beyond.

I do think Waco might have gotten caught with his hands in the cookie jar with his Wisp vote and the subsequent shift to everyone voting him instead.

However, (1) this is a weaker case than on Wisp, and (2) I don't think it necessarily tells us anything useful about Wisp's alignment.

Wisp's progression in this game has not seemed natural or town-motivated (random disjointed thoughts -> one vote on him -> explosion of defensive, somewhat incoherent counterattacks that don't really fit with earlier questions). His posts since this morning are more coherent, and his play style is growing on me, I like him as a player, but I still think he's more likely a wolf.

Also, people who have played with him before are saying this is notably different from his town play, and as far as I can see there's been no other good explanation for that shift besides a change in alignment.

By the way, has anyone come up with a good alternative to the word 'mislynch' yet?

    Alright, here's a thing.

Vaimes is town because of this:
Cuth is town because of this:
Following Rubicon's "Gemma, do you have any scumreads at the moment?" It has a "ooh, I have a question to add on to this but want to have fun while doing it" vibe.
    And this:
Cross off Tom and this is a really good list.
    And this:
Because I literally just wrote about how that quote for Rubicon is towny, it's further down in this post.
    And this:
This is deescalation, a genuine attempt to figure Wisp out.

Fluff is town for body of work stuff.
Basically, he's asked a bunch of question like this one. They're him poking his head into the thread and prodding for actual reads.

Dels is town for solid reads in general:
Obviously, I disagree with the Vaimes read, but it feels genuine, so I'm quoting it.

Gemma is town for reasons. Mostly the Rubicon and Dels stuff.

Rubicon is kind of town for this:
    Feels genuine.

TerRaine is kind of town for this:
I feel like the snappy follow ups come from a place of conviction, shrug.

    Town
    fonti
    Vaimes
    Cuth
    Gemma
    Dels
    Rubicon
    fluff
    TerRaine

    Not town
    Akina Puppy/Ampharos/Sloth/Cobalt/tom/Wisp/Waco

I'm willing to yeet anyone in the not town list except for Amy and Akina.

In summation, this game is weird and my reads are probably garbage.
