I wouldn't cry if we lynch Cobalt. I don't townread him and Wisp's posting hasn't been as offensive today. I'm wary of trusting that, but.

If you remember where I said I would townread Vaimes for Vaimes-y things until page 10, and then look for more solid reasoning, well, I haven't found more solid reasoning.

So Wisp, like... OK, I'm gonna use Game 6 as an example of this, because I think it's fairly pertinent here.

Pretty early on in G6, Wisp was getting sussed fairly heavily by a lot of people for a variety of reasons, a lot of which seemed to boil down to playstyle and culture clash. I recall him getting fairly fiery in response to this, and he managed to post himself out of it - to my recollection, he was fairly townread even before he claimed JOAT.

Point is, he put himself in an early hole, but posted himself out of it.

Thing is, his response to pressure is off here. He's getting defensive still, but in less of an aggressive way and in more of a "woe is me" way. There's no fire, he's just... he's kind of resigned, if I'm being honest.

I think w!Wisp felt pressured by the constraints of this forum to try something different with his posting, got pressured when it didn't work out, and wasn't sure how to naturally transition out of it. I think he's posted himself into a corner that he doesn't know how to post himself out of and is resorting to a suicidal lack of self-preservation as a last ditch effort to appear villagery.

I also think this read could easily be wrong, because it's largely predicated on like.... one game of meta? But there's enough tonal weirdness to his posting that I'm inclined to be suspicious here, and while Wisp fairly commonly has reads that are way against the grain, he usually doubles down before he backs off, so I kinda don't like him pulling off of his Dels and Cuth suspicions.

    tl;dr yolo

I would only cry if he flipped Joat, but I also think he is kinda more likely to flip town.

If Tom becomes a train in like 10mins, I will so vote him off the island.

How many people think Waco is town?

I don't think Waco is town, I've just seem him get pushed off a cliff every game I've been in with him and think it's a tired way to end the day.

I think Cobalt is probably not scum with Wisp. I don't think he would have voted Tom when Wisp already had a ton of votes, I think it's way more likely scum!balt would have just straight up bused.

No, it's more of a "Cobalt wasn't here for awhile so he might be wolfing" and then I show back up and nobody changes their minds.

I mean that's what I was thinking yes. Really not into a vote for IRL reasons and I genuinely haven't seen a case. Even Fonti said the re-entrance would be energetic and cobalt-y and would only trail off later.

    But I'm asking in case.

Your catch-up, was uh, not great.

Like, why are you voting for Wisp right now, Cobalt. Explain it to me.
