I don’t really get the assertion that the gamestate is weird. Wisp got heat for exclamation points and scum got a miselim, the end.

Regfan I was waiting for you for like 4 hours and you didn't show up, then I got distracted. I'll be around tomorrow during the day, don't worry. I'll talk with you about tom but the one sentence version is that I felt he was seeing the game in similar ways to me at a bunch of points day 1 and while it didn't give me a townread on him I was more or less vibing with him and felt fine about him. The Amy thing was just one of those. I haven't gone through the details of your Sloth read but I agree he's town, also kind of want to clear Waco for the nightkill but that's probably a bit excessive. I'm going to sleep, talk more tomorrow.

The tiers aren't ordered. I'd like us to come to a consensus on the top 5-6 slots, I don't think that's too much to ask. I think you'll be awake a few hours earlier than me in the morning so during that time I'd appreciate it if you could focus on Rubicon and Dels and bringing your reasoning for your reads on those slots into thread so that we can have a proper discussion about them. I have tom on my to-do list for tomorrow, I'll look over Vaimes in more detail as well and go over your Sloth stuff and reread him to make sure I feel good about that read. If you're agreeing on fonti town, at that point I think we can start moving on to Cuth and below and sort out some semblance of a PoE during this dayphase, but unless we really believe we're looking at something like [Cuth, Ter, Ampharos] then I think we're almost definitely going to have to be pushing 1 or 2 people from that top pile down. Also, I see you've been doing so already but you know how much your antialigns help me so please put all of those into thread.

Apologies for not being around much at all the second half of d1, life just got a lot busier for me.

My initial reaction to the kill was doc dodging-- I don't know if that fits the general meta of this setup (I haven't spectated champs at all), but since there weren't a whole lot of consensus villagers/easy spks I could see the wolves trying to make a kill off the beaten path rather than risk not getting a nk? It does seem to indicate that they're more or less okay with the current state of things, which is rather unsurprising given how much of a mess d1 was and how little consensus we had overall, but since there are neither many widely v-read people nor many widely w-read people I'm not sure how far to read into that.

 

I think its some combination of avoiding the joats, not giving info, and avoiding questions of being alive.

I dont think that tells us much except theres probably at least one #competent wolf
Which would be tough to avoid in this playerlist anyway

 

On Wisp: my single biggest hangup there was the fonti read-- or rather, the way he handled the fonti read. I felt like the way he immediately pivoted from voting her for having no content to calling her 90% v basically only for suspecting him made more sense from w!wisp. He's absolutely been burned by fonti as a villager before and knows she's a very competent wolf player, and I thought that reaction made a lot more sense from a paranoid w!wisp who wants to... appease (isn't the right word but something along those lines) a player who he'd be extremely intimidated by. The overall reaction just seemed like how I'd expect w!wisp to react to sudden pressure from people he can't blow off completely? I also didn't really care for the defense of "I'm choosing to do very little" in response to concerns about how he'd made very few reads/posted very little content compared to the number of posts he'd made. I was also sponging a little off of how fonti felt, as she accurately read him town very confidently in team mafia, and the fact that she had similar reactions to what he was saying reinforced the read. I thought his reaction was mildly villagery (in terms of its brand of obstinacy) and backed off to try and actually discuss why he was doing what he was doing, but revoted after that proved fruitless and he posted a terrible readslist. He did definitely get more villagery towards EoD in particular, though.

 

Yeah, I think we pulled a logic, heh.

@Cuthalion wrt to Wisp: Outside of the leaning on Fonti thing, pretty much was my thoughts on that.

NK spec isn't a strength of mine, but I certainly think it's a kill from a team that's pleased with the post D1 landscape. The replacement thought is interesting as well. That makes me think it's a team that's confident in it's working together against a town as it stands, which gives me a interesting thought as well.
