Am awake, catching up in bits and pieces while we get breakfast ready, should be around more soon.

    @Gemma, I did mention roughly what time I was going to be here but you must have missed it. Yeah I'm not tied to any sort of Tom read at the moment, but I think Cuth puts it well in his recent post where it's just like "There's no Tom-funness going on" and it's just weird and definitely think it's the sort of kill he'd make here, like he's less suspected in this DLP game than I've ever seen him before and if he's got a competent partner that's in a good position too it just sort of Makes Sense. Definitely will focus more on explaining the Dels town read, I went through Rubicon last night though and I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to help you there, my read on him essentially boils down to "I don't agree with much of the reasoning behind the scum reads on him, he's maybe a super weak town lean but it's one I don't really have a lot of good logic to support". Few things I want/need from you;

    1) RE; Your Post #1084 Can you talk to me about Vaimes please, what moved him up to your stronger town reads because from memory you were unsure on him and would like the progression of that on walked through for me a bit. Do know you said you were going to read through him, but an explanation of the placement of him on this list/at that point would be nice.

    2) I'd also like your thoughts on what's happening with Fonti/Cuth here (like what worlds make sense/do you think are possible) in that I'm looking at them and going is it a) Fonti/Cuth V/V who found each other and vibed with each other and are both town, or b) is it Fonti/Cuth V/W or W/V where one's sort of pocked the other re; the Wisp read and if so, which direction is it? or c) Is it Fonti/Cuth W/W where they're just sort of powerwolfing?

    3) Can you explain the "Fonti would shoot me 80% of the time" type comment from you please?

Think it's a mixture of the focus being so much on Wisp and interactions being so much with Wisp during D1, it's very rare that it happens like that where the lynched player is one of the more active ones in the game and there's also nearly no one coming out defending them / town reading them, or any other strong pushes anywhere else. It's like most of the game just didn't play/interact/post reads on many other players much. And then Wisps starts acting townie and you're sort of left going ????? what do at that EOD1 where nothing feels great. Because of all that I'm not really scum reading Fontis EOD1 the way you are, I mean you maybe argue that letting it get to that and the day playing out that way maybe makes more sense if Fontis scum rather than town, but I think that's a fairly big sort of burden of proficiency type thing to throw on someone D1.

Hum. This is a read I'm looking at and having a very hard difficulty thinking is any sort of a real read from you. The people that voted/jumped on Cobalt yesterday were Fonti/Sloth/Fluff/(my slot)/Wisp, Wisps flipped town and you've got Fonti/Sloth as strong town reads, and you've got a town read on my slot and there wasn't really any other traction after that. Wagon and gamestate stuff should have you with a Cobalt scum read, not a town one?????

If you're town dude I need to see it because I'm just looking at your reads list there and there's just not really much scum reads/thoughts on players that might be scum from you. The Cobalt read feels like it should be the complete opposite of what it is, and I just don't see enough uhh, hesitation on some of the reads that I'd expect here with the D1 mslynch + the night kill from you.

I don't know if people are assuming I think font should've dunked a wolf and that's why I'm FoS'ing her, but I'm not. It's the gameflow that caught my attention, not any sort of results or lack thereof. Looking back at her scumgames, you can see her kind of fanning the CFD-flames near deadline rather than trying to push for a consolidation, and push hard if it's not currently in the lead.

I want to say that I think town!font makes a hard push on Cobalt waaay earlier, but she's already admitted that maybe her push wasn't ideal or something, can't recall right now and would rather wait until I read again to really solidify any sort of opinion there.

Cobalt is definitely underwhelming, which makes me sad because I love his town energy.

This is fair enough and definitely something I can understand.

And yes, agree re; Cobalt being underwhelming as well.

    Agree with Vaimes about fontisian.

I think fonti/Cobalt both being wolves makes a fair amount of sense - it's not something I'm committed to yet, but his reaction to her (saying she was 'open wolfing'), her insistence that he explain what he meant, and then him not ever doing that is a bad look. If you think someone is 'open wolfing' it shouldn't be hard to explain how, and the interaction makes sense as trying to distance from her, and her thinking he was doing a poor job of it.

    Hi I'm alive.

"Underwhelming" is not a good reason to yeet me, where have I done anything that indicates I might be scum?

Lack of town energy is not a good enough reason in my eyes. People change and I'm not always going to project the same town energy in every single game that I'm a villager.

I don't think so. I've considered putting together a browser extension that does what you're describing - wouldn't be too hard - but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yeah I asked because something like what Waco just posted. Like. No one's gonna go look at all those postnums manually >_> So I thought maybe there's a thing and that's why people forego links sometimes. But I get it, linking sucks here, MU has [postnum]###[/postnum] tags that do it automatically and it's a godsend. But it was a well summarized post anyway

Uh, you've haven't done anything towny when you always do towny things as town. Of course it's a good enough reason to yeet you. Like, do you even think I'm scum here? It sure feels like you don't, yet your vote is still on me.

Excuse you? You're going to have to actually explain why Cobalt being scummy means I'm his partner, friend.

So. I disagree on this. To put it bluntly, I... don't think your case on Cobalt was enough of a reason to vote him. I already said why though so I don't feel I can say more. I thought Cobalt's posts were fine. To me, I feel like what you're implying here is that "Cobalt should've gotten votes, but he had 1-2 wolfbuddies who were around and didn't wanna vote him". Do you think that's what happened?

I've been reconsidering that after re-reading EoD and also carefully considering Gemma's posts from the beginning of this phase and I don't feel as strongly about it as I did earlier.

    Unvote

I still want to yeet Tom.

Also, the fact that people didn't want to flashwagon me doesn't mean I'm a wolf with partners.

    Just putting that out there.

Yeah I'm glad you're on the same ish page, I would be surprised if that pile didn't change though before EoD so we'll probably have more things to talk about. Also, I do respect your solving so if you have anything you feel like sharing about anyone in there (or not in there) I'd love to hear it.
