Eh, not really feeling it with the reread sorry, don't have that mafia fever the way I used to. I'll just stick to ISOs.

FYI Regfan, your direct post links don't work for people with different forum settings. If you click on the post number in the top right of a post, it will give you a link you can copy and paste that will work for everyone.

Invalid premise, question does not compute.

I've written out the logic and ended up not feeling good enough about it to ship it, but I can talk briefly about it anyway. My perception of how fonti/Cuth would wolf together was that they would not both pile onto Wisp, but ultimately I don't have substantial reasoning to support that perception. I also felt that they wouldn't both be so... flat? if they were wolfing together, but again I have to consider that them kind of mirroring each other emotionally could be an aligned thing, so yeah I guess I don't have anything for you there in the end.

Pretty sure Cuth and I would be having a blast if we were wolfing together, yeah.

Thanks, the fonti/Vaimes/Gemma thing around EoD and early today was one of things that pushed him up for as well so we're on the same page with that. I don't follow your thoughts on him re: Wisp, you've said you felt Wisp was clearly a miss but the a lot of the more substantial thoughts Dels put into thread in the latter of day 1 was about Wisp being mafia, have I misunderstood you?

Nod, thanks for the explanation, doesn't really move the needle much for me re; the likelihood of them being together or not. The underlined is amusingly enough a lot of the basis I have for thinking Fonti/You are not W/W.

I think a lot of the reasoning put forward behind Wisp being scum earlier on the in the day phase was actually good, just think the second half of their day phase they picked it up and started being obvious town then. I think Dels's read on Wisp makes a lot of sense coming from them as town, especially after having Obs'ed their most recent game. I think Dels drawing a similarity between reading Wisps early game awkwardness and comparing it to the previous game Dels played scum players that town then proceeded to town read and get endgamed by they played in Post #643 and Post #690 just sort of flows/makes sense as real thoughts and mindset.

I’m mobile rn so I can’t pull the ISO quotes that I want to

but my feelings about Tom are basically that his posts seem manufactured and they provide very little content. There’s no thought process to follow and nothing that indicates he’s actually putting reasoning and logic behind his posts.

He feels very vapid and shallow in a way that I’ve caught scum Tom doing multiple times. Going with my gut on that read.

    Vote: Tom

I’ll pull more relevant quotes when I’m back at my computer later.

@Cobalt - I'd personally rather hear you talk about Non-Tom players more.

Walk me through your thought process and read on Fonti as the games progressed, and where your heads at with her right?
What's your reads and thoughts on Cuths play this game?
Where are you currently at with Amy (For this particular one please ignore Tom as a player in the game), and also Rubicon/Waco/Vaimes/Jari?

Update on where my brain is at since day 2 has developed:

Strongest town reads are Vaimes, Rubicon and Dels.

Strongest scum read is Tom. I have some not-great feelings on Fonti to resolve but I’m not firmly in the Font is scum camp anymore. Gemma is pinging me still even though there’s a gut reaction based on logic and interaction where I want to call her town based on her D2 so far. For some reason I wasn’t feeling Gemma in D1 and I can’t put my finger on it.

I'm giving you both the benefit of the doubt on this for now, but I will want to see your thoughts at some point

Oh, a thought I had about tom: tom has said that he didn't like the Wisp wagon near the end because he felt there were scum on it. I thought at the time, and still do, that this was bad reasoning. If there were scum on Wisp there, it could easily be that they were bussing. No scum would try to save Wisp there if he was a wolf, they'd read the writing on the wall. Plus it is near EoD and people have to consolidate to reach maj, which even further incentivizes them to just do it.
