Yeah, I think this is very possible. Hard to sort of interact and play with them until they've sort of really caught up and talking about real time stuff though, this whole deep reread of early pages just keeps them in the past for a long time.

I guess what you've said about is maybe part of why I'm just feeling ~eh~ about the Amy/Tom wagon possibility, because Amy could very easily just be town and be someone that gets more attention and votes due to not being a regular here and Toms just always been a fairly easy place for scum to vote/focus on when he's town and gets msyeeted here. Like one of them could easily be scum, sure. But it just sort of feels a bit like a lazyish focus and wagons?

 

Please put more words to this for me, you seem to have come into the game with a scum read on Sloth, but I can't find /anywhere/ where you've explained this read, so would like you to go into this and maybe take a look at the post where I explain my Sloth town read and let me know what you disagree on about it?

You've got Fonti as town here, would also like that read from you explained. Some words about the differentiation in strength between your town reads would also be appreciated. You've got Tom/Fonti/Rub/Dels/Vaimes/Waco/Gemma/Myself as town, if you're wrong about 1-2 people, who are they? If you had to bet the game on certain people being town in there, who and why again? Just need more thought process from you in the game in general.

I didn't respond to this because I'm still waiting for fonti/Jari/Amy/Cuth show up and do enough things for me to have a clearer idea of where I think the wolves are and more importantly how comfortable I am with my townreads.

Really nothing has changed for me since 1224, I kind of already knew it before the game and before this dayphase but I'm finding that I just don't have the same desire to solve stuff as I used to, even with you in the game. Since that post I haven't reread, I haven't ISO'd anyone, so I have nothing new to bring to the table for you other than what's been in my posts today. Like I said in 1224, Vaimes/Sloth/Dels/Waco/you are my towns, if you want me to order them in terms of strength it's probably you>Vaimes>Sloth>Dels>Waco but honestly the distinctions aren't very meaningful and I'm not confident that any of you individually are town, nor am I going to be until the bottom half of my reads are less soup-y. I am entertaining tom as a townread more than I was in 1224 for reasons I've talked about, and Cobalt has done a few things since then but nothing that has hugely made me want to clear him, gun to my head he's town but that's a big ass shrug.

I don't know what's going on with fonti. I'm as confused as you with how she's playing this dayphase, trying not to throw too much of a burden on her for reasons and also just really don't have the emotional energy to involve myself in getting a read on her.

I think if this game isn't going to explode my brain then Jari has to be a wolf here a lot of the time, if it's not him then we're almost always looking at like either Cuth/fonti together or someone we're townreading being mafia, because the pieces just don't fit. And trying to make them fit before I have any real sense of what I think about that pile of null/scummy people's alignment from their posts rather than from gamestate reads or PoEing off my towns is going to make me lose any interest in playing this game. So I'm sorry to not match you with word count and effort being put into solving, I just don't have the drive right now and forcing myself isn't going to work, I'm waiting on a few people to do things and until then I don't have much to offer. If you want to point me at something specific by all means do, that's about all I've got for you right now. Who knows maybe I'll actually sleep more than 2 hours for once and tomorrow will be a new day.

She is not a full outsider, we've played togther. She reminds me of me more than any person I have ever played with. She is not acting like a villager here. Her reads are boring and representative of consensus, and more damningly she doesn't give a shit about them. She piled on Wisp, when I think she should have soulread him town at the end. Her townreads lack fire and her Waco read fucking sucks. She isn't waffling or feeling paranoia, her reads aren't bouncing back and forth as she puts more thought into them.

This is not a "not villagery enough read," this is a scumread. I want Amy dead.

Sloth feels more background-y for me personally but I'm happy to just write him off as town for the time being, if only because scum!Sloth has yet to get widely townread ime.

 

I was shading him a lot, but mostly just for his posting style, and because we like to be mean to each other.

I think I eventually said something like, I don't think Wisp would be this contrarian as scum and I don't think he'd feel obligated to keep up the new posting style and was probably just a stubborn villager.

All of these names are bet-the-game level, but if I had to be wrong on someone it's probably Waco or Rubicon. Regfan is hella sincere, he and Gemma are bouncing off each other nicely, tom is embracing his loner wolf style and Dels isn't posting like a robot.

It's been so long since Rubicon's played and he wasn't anyone I ever had an easy time reading anyways. Waco is [TV static].
