I disagree with this quite strongly, I think if we're in a Fonti/Jari W/W world she has no hesitation voting/bussing him.
I don't think it's something to rule that pairing out with at all.

 

I didn't make up a read on you, I just scum read that particular post from you / the way it meshed in with your posts on that page. I don't know how to believe that you genuinely don't understand why people are scum reading you? Like, you're not really doing a ton to solve the game or move the game anywhere. I don't think it's fruitful to us to make a conversation about this but in the past you've had a very particular way of interacting with Regfan that ties into your respect for him as a scumhunter and a leader and that relationship with him this game has been absent, I haven't been scumreading you for it because I don't want to always expect that level from you but it's hard for me to believe that you don't recognize what you could be doing here as town.

I guess I just assume stronger wolves tend to avoid bussing when possible but if this doesn't apply to Fonti then I'll take it under consideration.

 

You beat me to it but yeah, in fonti/Jari worlds she doesn't have many options here with her push on Amy not really gaining traction, the only other alternatives I can see are probably Cobalt and Cuth and they're not even wagons.

 

I am telling you that I am doing what I always do. The only difference I can account for is 1.discomfort with the game and 2. a bunch of people pushing me and having to deal with that. If there is a difference in how I am treating Reg or anyone else, I am not perceiving it.

Like, maybe it's different because I was expecting Reg to get through my iso and townread me, and then he didn't, and I'm just like, ok, what do? I don't think that could account for what you're talking about, but I also just don't understand what you're talking about. I don't know what I "could be doing here" as town, except for having strong scumreads, and I just don't have them, and I don't know how to fix that. I'm trying the best that I can.

Kind of think Amy/Waco probably not W/W but weaker read.
Think Amy/Tom probably not W/W.

Doubting Amy/Cobalt/TerRaine make that night kill, and if I'm wrong on Waco I don't really see it happening from Amy/Cobalt/Waco either. TerRaine/Waco are unaligned so no other teams with that groupings.

Only real worlds where Amy's mafia is like

Amy/Cuth/TerRaine
Amy/Cuth/Cobalt or at a stretch
Amy/Cuth/Waco

I'm sort of ;squintyeyes; at some of those being the case, either way Amy scum probably only ever exists in Cuth!Scum worlds? So yeah, never voting Amy here today.

I don't really have an emotional wavelength with you this game so I'm not super sure where your head is at to be able to take the initiative on giving you an entrance to things. I'm also just, not really emotionally invested in the game at all so my baseline perception of other people's emotional states isn't very attuned.

I'm pretty sure in a w!Fonti/v!Cuth world Fonti would have a fair reason to believe that a Cuth vote could gain traction, given Reg's drum-banging in that direction.

I do see what you're getting at, though. Sort of a "they're fucked either way in that world" sorta read, yeah?

 

Not really, just notes everywhere that I've been playing with, can compile the whole list if you want but when I removed like my 4 core town reads (Rubicon/Vaimes/Sloth/You) my unaligned list shrunk from like ~20 ruled out pairings to like 2 back then which I guess is a good sign in a 'my town reads are correct' sense, but not amazing.

Right now outside of the town reads the only pairings that I 100% don't see in this game are the Dels/Fonti and Waco/TerRaine. Am like 99% on the Dels/Amy, Fonti/Amy being unaligned, and am fairly sure that Amy/Tom and Amy/Waco are unaligned too in descending confidence in them. Think that's them all.

 

I really wanna put Reg in the Vaimes section of my readslist, i.e. "if someone's catching him it's not gonna be me."

No, it's not, and I think her point about it being unfair is, well, fair.

 

A couple things I want to establish before we go any further:

My lack of activity and joie de vivre is not a result of anything or anyone in this game; I'm sorry for not being around and doing my part. That is (I hope) the last of it.

Reg, I don't blame you for being suspicious of me, given that I practically vanished just over halfway into d1 and have demonstrated the mental and verbal acuity of a rather dazed city pigeon so far today.

This notwithstanding, I'll be damned if I let you misyeet me after waiting almost three years to (almost certainly) rand v/v together in an actual game.

 

Put down a readlist, throw all the slots you don't have any feelings about aside and focus on the ones you do have feelings about, sort them by strength and just try to go down the list and see if you can put down some reasoning on each of the slots. We can go from there but I think that would be a solid start.

 

I don't know what part of my sleep-addled mind decided that rereading the entire thread and posting notes from it was the most productive way to handle severely limited time and energy, but I regret it. Still want to look over EoD as a whole and specific people as well, but we'll see how far I get tonight before running out of juice entirely.

 

Is more about Jari never being in a position to go deep if he's a wolf, no matter who his team is you're not endgaming with him here ever, so any votes on him shouldn't really be clearing if he's a wolf.

Yeah, I don't think I'm in headspace to do this right now, because that's all I have, and a part of me wants to kick Von and Sloth and Reg out.

 

I really don't think either Fonti or Gemma are wolves, both independently and from the recent conversation in particular.

Which consequently means that there's a very good likelihood everyone from our team in Marblympics is a villager together again, which is an exciting prospect.
