I don't really get why you're placing my read above your own. Makes me uncomfortable that you're doing it, would prefer if you just play your game and I'll play mine. If I disagree with one of your reads I'll talk with you about it and tell you why and try to get on the same page with you, when I do that it's up to you to take on board my thoughts or not depending on whether or not you think they're valid or good in substance, but suspending your own stuff on my account without your own read actually changing is bad feels.

I've been using Nebula as my baseline scum!Cuth, and up until maybe now, Cuth has not felt like that. Nebula was present and opportunistic, and tried to disrupt the town core with not solid scum pushes. Cuth has given solid reads at the right time, has not cared about maintaining presence and cared about getting the read on Wisp right. I think his Day 2 play has been significantly worse, and I'm not sure how much of that has just been his absence. And I think me saying all of this is just going to tilt Reg more, while potentially giving scum!Cuth a clear idea on how to pocket me.

 

I'm. I probably need to go to sleep and look at this again in the morning, but right now I'm falling further and further into the tinfoil world of Reg!w. Three main reasons:

1) He's ignoring me right now and has generally talked about wanting to figure me out a lot more than he's actually interacted with anything I've done. Like I said before, understandable in light of my previous sparsity of content, but is a bit at odds with his previous statement of wanting to rand town together-- I haven't felt like he is/was personally trying to see me as a villager or have an interaction in such a way that he could get closer to a read, instead he's just said "you need to be more villagery i need to see more process what have you".
2) One of his primary justifications was my lack of strong wolfreads. I admit this could be holdover from team mafia, where I had several confident and incorrect tunnels on villagers in teamchat, but that's not typically representative of my play or something that's particularly ai and it just feels kinda lazy and fake.
3) The push on fonti feels super gross and out of whack with what fonti's been doing in thread/reg's general play.

I don't think your first point is fair. I don't think you can expect Reg to be enthusiastic to work with you when he's tilted.

Fonti feels performative right now in a way where she seems almost to be desperately trying to convince specific people she’s town instead of just... being town Font.

The flip in his read on my in his last like 5 posts just Isn't A Real Thing, and has a lot of scum motivation here in an attempt to de-credit me. 1) of his post just ignores any of what my mental state and just where i'm at in the game is right now in that I'm just flat out not in a 'interact' with people mood after reading Gemmas post earlier, and also just isn't something that comes from me as scum so him attempting to put that forward as something that's making him tinfoil me just reads fake. His uh 2) is just like words that don't mean anything? My issue isn't a lack of strong confident scum reads of his, it's that his analysis and stance on Cobalt just doesn't feel like him attempting to read the game in a game-solving manner, that there are some night kill and gamestate stuff that I think make sense if he's mafia, and that I'm just not seeing much general solving from him. Like 2 is just ??? there. And 3) is him attempting to try and get in the middle of something that's happening with Fonti/Me without even trying to read back and attempt to work out where my scum read on her comes from, what my thoughts are with her, or anything.

 

Cuth’s assessment of doc dodging is actually thoughtful in a way that I haven’t been up until this point, I think.

I kept thinking about the kill as a general sense of mindfuckery and I almost keep forgetting that this game has JOATs because they haven’t been relevant yet and it FEELS so much like a standard DLP game.

I don’t really think Amy has done anything of note and that’s still pinging me. Cuth is still good. Sloth is fine. Waco is good also. Jarizok is just as bad.

 

Like this to his recent post just doesn't flow and it being his only real contribution and thoughts is just yeah scum

I want to believe what you’re serving about Cuth. But like, it just doesn’t sink in or track for me. I’ve basically nodded along to most of his posts so far and even appreciated certain points that he’s brought in a way that I’m pretty sure comes from villa Cuth.

I also know I’ve said before I have difficulty reading him but I feel a little more confident in my town lean now.

 

I’m also setting myself up to be chainyeeted if Cuth flips w and idk how I feel about planting myself in that position
