I'm of the opinion that motion detector is borderline useless with 3 wolves alive so I just Hail Mary'd it onto the dude I wish I'd dunked D1.

Honestly didn't expect him to carry the kill if he was a wolf and was pleasantly surprised to detect motion. Thought I'd stumbled across the other JOAT by pure happenstance, since I didn't think any other potential JOAT targeted tom there except Fonti, and I was pretty sure Fonti wasn't the other JOAT.

 

I initially thought this, but saw a problem with it in that lets say you're legitimate.
Tom can kill you tonight, sure he's confirmed scum tonight and all, but we have no useful tracker result from Sloth and Sloth dies the next night. It effectively trades both of our JOATs for confirmation of who's scum between Tom/You.

I feel like that's...not worth it?

 

As much as I feel tempted to troll by claiming JOAT here and seeing the reactions, I am definitely confirming I am not a JOAT. =P

There is literally no way I am believing tom over Amy here, but if people believe it's mechanically correct to let the claims self-resolve, I can vote elsewhere today. I really don't know anything about how to handle role shit. (And no, Amy, the last game did not teach me lol)

I haven't done maximum thinking about it, but at the moment I'm leaning towards the mechanically better shot of winning by yeeting inside Amy/Tom today. If we miss, yeah Sloth dies tonight which isn't ideal but in the world we don't yeet in them Sloth doesn't get anything new if we ask him to check them / they shoot the other CC. If we hit inside there, we end up with a 100% guaranteed tracker result/clear

 

Lol the only thing the last game taught me is that fakeclaiming power roles as VT is actually mad fun and not even that hard to do effectively without tanking town's win chances.

I take no credit for our loss that game outside of a perhaps subpar voting record in my two days of life.

 

Pretty sure it does, she was calling for his head EoD1 and then started dialing it back SoD2 and being like "nah tom might be town" for reasons I didn't really get, but make sense now.

 

I'll go along with any mechanical plan that we determine is effective, however the fake claim is obviously tom IMO, so my gut is to just yeet him and get on with it.

 

Shrug, living longer is nice and all, but I live longer regardless pretty much, in that even if we're wrong here between Tom/You, Sloth dies tonight and I live tomorrow with confirmation on it being either Cuth/Tom/X, or Cuth/You/X, and that's probably as much time as I need.

 

I mean, here's the thing though. Not yeeting a clearly scum JoaT on day 2 that game meant we had to pick someone else even at a point where we had no other suspects, so we yeeted a town!Chemist by default even though no one really thought he was scum?

Who do we yeet today if we yeet outside the claims? I admit I'm lazy but I was waiting for Cuth->Tom flips before beginning to think too strongly about who the final one is.

Not that it matters too much with the double save. Don't really wanna ever get overconfident but this should just be a win either way.

But scenarios I'm seeing here are;
1) We yeet inside Amy/Tom and hit the scum, we're 100% guaranteed to get 1 more clear player, if doc/tracker WIFOM plays out we could possibly end up with 2, or even more saves and stuff.
2) We yeet inside Amy/Tom and miss, Sloth dies tonight, we go to tomorrow of 9 alive with myself as the only clear
3) We yeet outside of Amy/Tom and hit the scum, well we've won
4) We yeet outside of Amy/Tom and miss, Amy/Tom whoever is scum shoots the other JOAT. Sloth can't get any relevant information from this (re; tracker/motion detector), Sloth dies the following night. We end up with a confirmed scum tomorrow.
