If Amy’s a wolf with Waco or Cobalt the angle she’s playing here seems pointless. It might make sense with a deep cover wolf in the town circle, such as fontisian (who I guess becomes a weaker townread if Tom is town) but eh. Also, I think Amy/dels seems unlikely here.

I like some of this, in that the reasoning is detailed and meandering through various options Tom considered and discarded instead of just being “oh I thought he was wolfy.” Of course, if the team is Tom/Cobalt/Cuth than the section about checking them is probably just designed to be confusing and with Cuth bring a wolf it could be based on real worries about him getting targeted and caught that way.

I don’t find the final paragraph very compelling since wolf-Tom could easily have had that thought about dels while trying to find JOATs to kill.

Also, I’d have expected Tom to give some thought to targeting Amy at some point given his reads.

 

I think probably this setup was designed to prevent the kind of JOAT clearing strategy we’re hoping to find.

I agree, I think with maybe 3 alive you'd be able to play a let the joats play their own mindgames type thing and put them aside a bit. But with 2 left just aiming in there might have to be the play. If we hit this game becomes very locked. And if we miss we still end up with 3 yeets to find the partner which is not a bad situation to be in.

 

Nope, people seem to be thinking my reads are based on meta but I haven't played a game here (or tbqh other than team mafia) anywhere in 2 years and wouldn't base reads on meta, Vaimes maybe the only partially based meta read I have. I think Rubicon town more from being able to see him trying to gamesolve and work this out. It's not a lock town read, and I will look to see if tom/rubi or you/rubi work when I spend time on that stuff later today.

Paras post re; Cobalt not knowing game started and asking if he's being dumb clearing the slot based on that feels...non-partner-y. Cobalts EoD2 where he was hardpushing Jarizok and sort of pinging / trying to get Amy to move back in the thread feels like it'd play out a bit differently as partners there. His "GJ Amy" thing at SoD today feels...sort of genuine? Like in a way I think would be less likely to happen if he knows there's a CC coming. There's bits and pieces more, but tbqh, I think I'm more confident in the Cobalt/You not being together thing, then the Cobalt/Amy one. I also think Cobalts just town in general, shrug?

This might change, I'll definitely spend some more time on this tomorrow, and more than anything want to hear where Fontisian & Gemma are at which what we should be doing today (Yeeting in or outside of the JOAT counterclaims Amy/Tom) and if which they're thinking.

But I still think Toms treatment and handling of the Cuth/Jari situation D2 looks incredibly scum motivated with Cuth!Scum/Jari!Town being the case. And I think I'm reading Amys claim in general as more town + thinking the motion on Tom N1 thing and the read change they had coming into D2 rings fairly true. I'm also not...hugely concerned if I'm wrong on Tom here, because worst case scenario we yeet Amy tomorrow and we've got 3 yeets to find their partner. I do have Amy/Dels as pretty unaligned, I think Amy/Cobalt are fairly unlikely to be together (I know tom disagrees here, and if he's actually town I will 100% look into this pairing more, particularly with Fontis reasoning on Amys actions D1. But I think on initial impression haven't done the association reading towards it but Amy scum probably means Waco as partner?)
