I don't know your personal circumstances, but I don't think it's an unfair read that you've done more or less nothing villagery all game and haven't had much of an impact anywhere. This dayphase is just an extension of that. Whatever the reasons for your absence are, if I'm forced to yeet between two people, one of whom is putting their everything into the game and one of whom is putting very little - again, whether they're justified in that or not by IRL - it's a big ask to yeet the person putting their everything into the game, especially under these circumstances where we don't need to yeet the person to resolve their alignment.

If we yeet outside of the JOATs this plan below needs to be followed 100%:

If Amy is JOAT then she doc's Sloth
If Tom is JOAT then he doc's someone else.
Neither of them WIFOM this at all, they stick to this actions 100%

    Sloth tracks one of Amy/Tom

Sloth tracks one of them and therefore we get a confirmed mafia because
If Sloth dies then Amy is confirmed scum.
If Sloth is alive and someone else dies the track result on Amy/Tom reveals mafia or clears one of them
If no one dies Sloth having Amy visit them = Amy is clear because Sloth would be dead otherwise
If no one dies and Sloth has Tom visiting them = Toms is confirmed mafia since he was meant to be on someone else

    Cuth spew stuff from D1:

Strongest read I got from this was Gemma/Cuth not w/w which already wasn't something I'm concerned about.

P#146 and P#198 gave a townread on Vaimes that sounded much more like TMI than anything directed at a partner. Think it's helped by how early in the game it was.

I initially had Rubi as a not-unlikely partner here, with P#276 and P#277 looking like a potential partner defense, but there's a sequence a few posts later where he directly asks tom about his Rubi read and tom shoots the townread down, and Cuth later denounces a Rubi townread entirely in P#472. Reads to me as a pair of wolves teaming up to throw shade while looking like they're both solving. Makes Cuth/tom/Rubi seem like a really weird team.

Not a ton on Dels in here. The one post I noted was P#423, when he gave an early read on Dels as "in the same spot as para". Not sure if this is just a lazy read Cuth gives villagers or if he's doing the ol "one villager one teammate in my nullpile" thing.

There's literally only one mention of Waco, shading his vote on Wisp as "I don't like it if Wisp's town". This gives me nothing in either direction.

Cobalt is mentioned near EoD when Fonti starts sussing his absence and Cuth keeps asking Fonti if said absence is AI. This could go either way - given Fonti's eventual conclusion that it was, it feels weird for Cuth to take this line with a teammate unless he thinks that won't be the answer, in which case it looks like leading questions trying to get Fonti to back down. I will say that it looks like a weird convesation for Cuth/w!Fonti to have about v!Cobalt but I wouldn't call it clearing.

D1 Conclusions: Gemma, Vaimes, Fonti, and Rubi seem like unlikely partners. Cobalt, Dels, Waco could go either way.

Also, you put everything else aside, there is obviously far more mafia motivation in sitting quiet and trying not to disturb the status quo so that your cc gets lynched than pouring yourself into the game trying to clear yourself when if you're mafia the game is basically over (or we've miscleared someone).

    Oh hey here's a Cuth D2 readslist.

Removing my D1 unaligns for the pool, this actually looks worse for Dels than either of Cobalt/Waco on a surface level. If I remove Dels for my independent townread (which would make the Dels read here kinda TMI-y) then I think it looks worse for Cobalt? The read on Cobalt is a tentative townread with an openendedness that lets him double down or bus depending on gamestate, whereas the Waco read looks more like direct shade.

I mean, yes; I just dispute the notion that me sitting quiet has been a deliberate choice rather than largely a matter of circumstance.

The one thing I did deliberately choose to stay out of was conversation involving some of tom's more heated posting, mostly because I didn't think it would be productive and partially because I'm awkward as hell and had no idea what to say. I read the frustration as real even despite his alignment so it was hard for me to overcome natural empathy there.

@fontisian - I'm just going to sheep you here I do have some doubts and I think Gemmas point re; what Amys done isn't half bad. If you're still confident enough to stay on Tom I'll do the same, if you want to switch off wagon I think I'd be going in Rubicon/Waco, am finding it hard picking exactly who because it sort of depends on which world we're in. I'm yours to lead.

    Humm.

I mean, I'm up for killing Waco. Like I said before, it probably wins more games from this position.

This one feels worse for Waco and better for Dels - he's started the turnaround on Dels that puts him at the bottom of the readslist D3, whereas he's suddenly defending Waco in a world where tom's also doing so. Feels like it could be a powerwolf.

    vote: Waco

Let’s be optimal. It’s boring but increases our overall win probability and also probably clears me quicker making the game more fun.

    Rubicon
    Regfan
    Fonti
    Amy
    Gemma?
    Tom??

^ people who would probably vote for Waco here, also I’m sure we could bully a couple other townies into going along with it through peer pressure.

    Listen

Whether we kill Tom or not we 100% are hitting scum within toDay/toMorrow.

In the world where Tom is town (which is like 10% the world we're in) then lynching off-JOATs gives us maybe a 25% chance to chainlynch two wolves and win the game.

In the world where Tom is scum we get a guaranteed hit today + two alive JOATs for night actions / gamesolving. They can protect each other, track people, etc. with enough wine that scum will HAVE to avoid killing either of them for risk of another no kill night.

Having both JOATs survive the following night phase is the most beneficial world for village and that doesn't happen if Tom is scum, he will just kill Amy because Sloth will out him anyway.
