    Okay.

I was waiting for Cobalt's entrance here because Cobalt had basically, like, townread me, townread Waco (I think?), and suspected Vaimes but then reversed the read in that post. So I was curious to see where he'd go today, since if he's a wolf it'd be hard to find an avenue without overturning a previous read.

The above question was sort of a half-hearted due diligence because I kind of expected this answer. "I just hadn't been noticing Vaimes until now because I was too distracted elsewhere" is basically, like, what all of us went through if Vaimes is scum, so it's a pretty good answer. Could just be wolf!Cobalt reading the very clear thread consensus (well, from me and Reg) and just going with it, but, meh.

What's your order of preferred 3 yeets to end the game? (and therefore presumably just the first 2 if you got yeeted)

I can see it being Vaimes, Reg. I've let him float under the radar all game for no real reason, you know how it is, you forget you're supposed to actually be reading his alignment and just let him be town because he's Vaimes, etc. I'm not really feeling Cobalt, this maybe drifts a little into twtbaw but I think you have to be very short sighted and lacking in self awareness to shove on tom the way Cobalt did as Amy's partner at EoD, when all you're getting out of it is one mislynch. Eh. That's not a townread, it's just a "not feeling it" read. You have your Dels antialign, and other stuff, which I'll go over tomorrow. fonti's probably spewed by Cuth, unaligned-ish with Amy, mafia shot into you 2 nights in a row, eh, I wouldn't bet the game on her being town by any means, there's too much mess in her day 1-3 stuff and not enough life in her day 4+ stuff, but I also wouldn't ever go there before f3. Waco's EoD was very villagery, I want him to be town irrationally so that Rubicon's misyeet wasn't for nothing, but I also felt super frozen at EoD yesterday looking at tom/Waco/Rubicon as the only viable yeets and this isn't "logic" or w/e but it's the kind of oh no I can't vote anyone feeling I get when all the options are town. Vaimes doesn't really have anything clearing for him, which kind of makes him the exception? I'm only hesitant because, y'know, it's Vaimes, but from my skim it looks like he consigned himself to the grave, so... maybe shrug then.

It's difficult because I'm just gut trusting Reg on Font/Gemma so it would literally have to be Vaimes>Waco>Dels even though I don't want to believe you're a wolf here.

That being said I most definitely do not want to end up in F3 because I will always be the lynch so if the thread is determined to yeet me I'm okay with it as long as we get the ball rolling on not letting Vaimes slip away.

That's kind of where I'm at as well. About not wanting you to be a wolf, and about not wanting to end up in f3. If Vaimes flips town and Waco is the wolf, do you and I get misyeeted two days in a row in some order, and Waco wins?

It's kind of hard for me to think that far ahead, especially when I'm drifting into "its just Vaimes" which makes it hard to consider elsewhere. But. That's why ISOing Waco is the first thing on my list. If I can lock in a read there...

Things that stand out to me in Waco ISO:

    - The part where Waco defends Cuth early from the "stifling discussion" read / TerRaine's vote is very on the nose if they are partners. 484

    - Doesn't seem like he ever landed on any particularly strong read on Wisp. 498 is his last post about it.

    - Is Waco the type as scum to think he could push through a yeet on town!Tom? 1107(and many more i didn't bother linking). From what people are saying about his scumplay, he... isn't?

    - This post: 1193 If I squint, I can see this as sort of setting up a progression to vote Jari eventually. Also I like the response to tom, again, this is very feisty, does Waco have that confidence as scum?

    - The read on Cuth being a static "he's different than the game I wolfed with him in" is notable throughout the ISO. This post 1502 is an example. 2001 as well, his response to Reg's case is basically just "different than last game". I don't think he ever expands more on Cuth. Until we reach 2066 "Jarizok didn't self pres onto Cuth? maybe it is both" @The Waco Kid can you explain what your read on Cuth was at the time?

After this point he mostly misses the Cuth day, and then everyone remembers yesterday enough I don't feel the need to talk about it much. I'm kind of only mentioning the dicey parts here, a lot of this ISO still looks towny and I like the reasoning for his reads.

I will also say, not sure quite how to describe it but Waco never seems like he is pushing a scum agenda. Aside from the tom thing, he never really hard pushes anything. He's never quite in sync with what the thread's current push is, like he doesn't jump on the lead wagon until showing a bit of his own process first. Even when tom finally becomes a thing, he doesn't dive in right away. Not sure if that means a towny genuinely in their own world, or cagey scum. The biggest issue with this though is the lack of a Cuth progression and just going along with that vote when it finally happens? Tom had strong feelings about this but unless I'm blind I'm not really seeing a lot here?

the tl;dr of that is the biggest issue i have with waco on reread is potentially seeing scum agenda in the way he set up to be a jari voter, and the way his defense of cuth is static. potentially can see some things as cagey, like never having a strong read on wisp, and taking some time before hard committing to things like the d4 tom wagon.

I've lost a lot of my good qualities recently but I'd like to think one of the few I've held on to is that I do not fall for the easy traps that scum wish I would fall for.

Strike this post from your memory if Cobalt is actually the wolf.

You'll note the above post doesn't have a conclusion and that is on purpose. Next thing on my list is take a look at Amy/Cuth spew like Reg asked, but not sure that's gonna happen right away, I'll be in and out now, hopefully I will have time later.

Huh? I think we have very different perceptions of tom. At least on DLP he's like, one of the easier wagons to push / people are always suspecting him. He's had town games more recently where he puts more solving energy into thread and gets town read for it but I don't think that's how it's been for a while.

Honestly I think I have different perceptions of everyone, because this isn't the first time something like this has been said that I've disagreed with. <I wrote more words here but they're gone and saved for post-game>
