I am confused, if we get to final 3, am I supposed to roll over and let myself yeeted? /I/ want pointers so I know what I'm looking for on the off chance I end up in a super stressful final 3 where, from the looks of things, I will both be the consensus yeet and have no idea where to go in Dels/Waco. I'd like to avoid that situation by having some "if you're town, here's what you do" thoughts from Reg before he dies. I'm not pushing it rn, because I think Vaimes is just going to flip mafia and it won't matter, but if we do get to that point, and I have no help to fall back on from you or Reg, I am going to be upset.

It's a lot of the underlined, and her comment about not killing Cobalt tomorrow. Like I'm concerned in a "it feels like she's setting up to save Cobalt for a F3 possibly easier ML and giving herself avenues to ML one of Waco/Dels tomorrow. Major concern is that she's considering not just one, but both of them as scum here, when I'd just be floored if they were. It makes some sense in a 'if Vaimes is scum, trying to determine an order from her point of view between several townies is looking at game and going uhh gameishard', but it also fits a scum mindset.

I think it just ends here on Vaimes, but if it doesn't I think she needs to well not endgame us.

Nod, I agree it's somewhat concerning, I more or less had the same thoughts about it as I was reading, and is more likely if Von's town that I go fonti->Cobalt because I'm less sure Dels/Waco will be able to push that through without me, but, yeah, hopefully game is just over and I don't have to think about it.

 

You do realize that if I were trying to get Cobalt to be an easy yeet in final 3, I would have just done that Tomorrow, try to arrange for Dels to be the one to bring it up, and not talk about it while Reg is still alive, right?

The reality is that I just think Cobalt is town, so if Vaimes is scum, I'm going to have to either give up that read and yeet Cobalt and hope, and then if Cobalt flips town try to fight tooth and nail in final 3 to figure this cluster fuck out. Or I can talk about how I don't want to yeet him and why (like, look at this post, it's hella town), and deal with being moved down the poe because of it.

I'm sharing these thoughts because they're real and I'm doing it fully aware that I run the risk of Reg not liking it. I think, as scum, that risk would feel more acute to me.

I think I'd be more inclined to go the opposite order. But if it doesn't end here, and we're doing it your way I think I'd be inclined to do a "yeet fonti tomorrow, let her pick who gets yeeted in the F3 if she's /that/ confident it's not Cobalt somehow'.

 

This is compared to how scum fonti would play this, and it'd be something like, yeet Vaimes, wait for Reg to die, join the initial push on Cobalt and sound resigned, wait for to post something kind of town and Dels and Gemma to start doubting, support their doubt, yeet like Waco or something, shoot Gemma, try to turn Dels against Cobalt in final 3. Except, why would I even want to do that as scum, it's way easier to just yeet Vaimes Today, Cobalt Tomorrow, and then point out how my track record is way better than both Waco and Dels in final 3.

Part of the issue is that I'm most sure about Vaimes, and that surety it reinforcing my townreads on everyone else, which means I don't know where I'm going to be Tomorrow if Vaimes flips town.
