Yeah, this. This goes beyond "wifom". Even if people "wifom" of like "well why would he do the really obviously scummy partner defense as a wolf, oh but maybe he knows we'd think that so he did it, but that means he wouldn't do it soooo" etc, he would always, as a wolf, be worried that people would eventually land on the side of "he blatantly defended the wolves, we have to yeet him". That's why it's not a wifom read, it's a "would scum ever even try to rely on wifom" read.

If you're scum, you'd want Cobalt yeeted today by you/Gemma/Waco even if I defend him, that'd bring you to Dels/Fonti/Waco tomorrow at which point you could get Waco to vote me, or you could get me to vote Waco since I was relying on Reg/Gemma's read on you and was suspecting Waco. (Granted this changed a bit since Reg and Gemma tinfoiled you again eventually)

You're not following your best gameplan if you're a wolf. Again, wifom etc, but you literally have no reason to believe you could win a Cobalt/Dels/Fonti F3 with how Cobalt and I have townread each other all game.

 

You'd basically be relying, in that final 3, on telling me "Dels, you can't go against Reg's legacy, Gemma and Reg knew I was town, you have to vote Cobalt here, you were pocketed". Which, you very well could do, and I very well could listen to, but it's a rough plan to commit to when you could just literally vote Cobalt here and get it through without any issue.

For the record, after getting my thoughts out earlier and thinking about it more, I agree with Gemma that I'm a big boy and if the Fonti/Cobalt/Dels final 3 does happen I will put on my big boy pants and make a decision. Don't let my whining make you feel I'll be too compromised. I'm not scared of making huge decisions and facing the ramifications if I'm wrong.

 

Anyway I'm honestly not sure what else there is to talk about. Gemma's pretty much done, Cobalt is self-voting and not wanting to talk, though I want him to answer my question. I can talk with Fonti but we agree on Cobalt, lean-agree on Waco, and the only other thing we could talk about is why each other could be scum, which isn't fruitful. So just kind of waiting to see what Waco has and if any of his thoughts can move my needle.
