Hmm, okay... there's a few minor issues I could see with that, but will leave it for now as it seems generally mechanically sound at a glance, especially for the oracle/clown regarding optimal actions!!!

I'm guessing that was TinyHunt 9, then? Might actually take some time to read that so that I don't just threadsit all night/might help!!!!!

 

I lowkey have a light townread for Cobalt on starting off with trying to increase mechanics in the favour of town immediately, particularly as this seems like an extremely mechanically-focused game; granted maybe everyone already knows this stuff already and it's me/him being the most active other person around, but...

The Newcomb post I quoted from TH5 talks about what has become the standard meta for this. Whoever gets voted as the lump gets targeted N1 by the priest, oracle and clown, which gets us a (basically) confirmed green/red check going into SoD2.

I think the stuff about the priest trying to get the Lump is a bit questionable for many reasons, but as for the Gambler/Clown, well... personally one of my issues with the Lump essentially used as a PoE thing is that it just renders the extra vote useless? Sure it's useful for doing Oracle/Clown optimization, but if it's a witch then part of the Lump doesn't get used; it feels better to put it on someone who is PoE that you think is town, but that you think may find difficulty in clearing themselves!!!

 

Anyways I don't really want to get bogged down with it that much; this feels like the sort of thing that's better just said to people and not actually discussed/leave it up to people whether they agree with it or not, for safety reasons!!!!!

 

There honestly aren't that many mechanics though, just a matter of... putting the pieces together!!!!

Though I love the post-death mechanic, fantastic way to keep the game going in the graveyard/engaged in general; I've found that's always difficult to handle well!!!
