I can agree with that from a "we want to try and catch a witch" perspective, but also this is a game and sometimes I prefer having fun to being optimal [provided it doesn't actively harm my wincon]. It only really sucks for me because I know my own alignment, but I can maybe sus out people fake scumreading me down the line.

posts like these gave me the feeling fluff isn't that comfortable getting into the thread and is trying to find stuff to call out/comment on that doesn't actually hold much weight.

You're misreading what fluff's trying to do pretty badly, I think. Fluff will never be around the thread a lot (unless he's mafia) because he simply does not care to be. You have to look at the underlying process behind when and where he chooses to interject.

General v!fluff meta is that he posts as little as possible, sometimes smugly, and will make random pop-ins to ask irrelevant questions.

w!fluff meta is similar but I think he puts on more of a show of being productive? I honestly don't remember, someone else can field this one.
