I feel like I'm missing a lot of cues due to meta knowledge between players here and still don't totally understand the lump strategy

Lump strat is to lump a scumlean and then they get Priest checked. Priest stays quiet next Day if they're a villager, if the Priest happens to die N1 then the Acolyte will claim.

When Vaimes rolls wolf and starts going down, he likes to imagine the world where he was town all along and live in it for a bit. It's hard to explain, though the people who played Among Us Monday would have seen it a bit. It's like some sort of wish fulfillment thing.

Vaimes wants lump because he's wanted it in previous games, and right now, as a rightfully caught wolf, he knows it's the best thing he can get out of this game. He is imagine what he could do as town, but not doing it.

How do I know he's a wolf? Because he doesn't care about reads or hunting or figuring things out. He cares about faking little town things (like the posts about things he's going to put in his qt) and about whether he's actually fitting his townmeta (hence him talking about going back to see if he asked for lump in witch game).

This is weird, because I like it, but if there's a TMI read on fluff floating around it's this one.

 

Don't think it takes complicated meta knowledge, I just know the archetype of that sort of player. I'd reconsider my read there if I had strong TRs on most other people but I'm a long way from that.

Also do you think he is more likely to townread or distance from his partners here? Looking at his above defense of Gira whom I already suspect, what do you think I should take from that?

 

We literally just got out of a discussion where I talked about my Day 1 reads sucking rocks, please stop embarrassing yourself.

 

Never mind I actually hate this because of the last part. Saying someone looks towny but including a tidbit of "oh but they might have tmi" is extremely w/w indicative.

 

Your Day 1 reads in the Joat game weren't that bad. Your Day 1 reads in the last mtgs game we were in were fine.
