I'll do that, but proposing a fonti/lyric team is still a bit off on multiple levels.

Because I feel like a kid at the adult table this game.

And then proceeded to continue efforts to bury him and not explain what exactly is townie about those two thoughts. If the Fluff is lazy meta is this established why is it townie for Vaimes (who would be well aware of this meta) to town read Fluff?

And why is town reading Waco for forgotten reasons but pointing to Waco preferring to Vote than Lump if push came to shove a townie process?

Read the ISO. Unless something changes soon, I don't want to kill lyric before grapefruit. There were some nuances I liked in opening posts and the reactions to said posts are. Something.

Nutella's also not a wolf with lyric, but that's not a super important detail.

And since I just saw the questions about Fonti and Lyric as buddies this is the post that gave me the inkling and my vote is still on Lyric.

I take it you don't see a potential thought process in there? Because my thoughts on her posting were pretty similar to fonti's.

Either way I thought that post would be... pretty incautious to make from w!fonti there about her partner; if fonti was a wolf I'd actually suspect lyric less.

Because "fluff is lazy" is not the established meta. The established meta is significantly more complex, as I explained earlier, and Vaimes reducing it down to "fluff is lazy" is extremely scummy from him. Note that he explained the fluff meta stuff that after I told you the townread on fluff itself was not scummy, so that didn't factor into my analysis. It's towny for people to get reads at the same time I do, because that means they could be thinking the same way I am. As I was townreading both fluff and Waco (fluff more than Waco) for weak reasons at the same time Vaimes townread them, and as my actual read on both was more feels based than anything, I had no issues with his initial reads post and the explanation for his Waco read. That doesn't mean Vaimes is town, and I'm happy to bury him over other things, but I see no need to have you attack him for the few things he's doing that aren't scummy.

This is all, I think, very easy to understand and I feel that you aren't getting it because you don't want to. Because you're a wolf.

See, I'm concerned because I don't think there was ever a reason to make that clarification. I don't think anyone was ever at risk of assuming that v!fonti would have a reason to make up reads there.

I think you're feeling pressured to overexplain yourself. This in and of itself isn't necessarily alignment indicative, but I think the way that it's specifically being applied to shade someone is wolfy.

I want it on record that last time fonti and I had the exact same reads she was SK.

If I get pocketed here it ain't on me.

So I'm going to simplify that a bit but it's basically: Vaimes having the same reads as me was townie, but his reasoning for making those reads turned out to be scummy? I'm just so confused because in 362 you say that Vaimes probably picked up the Waco read from Amy as if that's a good thing, which doesn't gel with town reading him for reads aligning with yours unless I'm missing something.

@Ampharos I should post less too, but I do feel pressured to overexplain myself here. Again the seat at the adult table thing. If you want some background on that pressure last time I played a DLP game it was the anon MCU game on MU and there I was basically treated as a nonsensical loose cannon who was eventually accepted as town because scum tried too hard to kill me too many times. Also see Cuth dropping the "Grape is making more sense here" read earlier. At my home site I'm generally one of the steadier more level headed people (I like to think that translated to my Champs game last year), here I turn into a chicken with my head cut off every time. I had planned to try and change that this game but I've failed miserably at that plan so far.

Why did you say this lol

That's not quite what I was doing. I didn't originally tie him to you, rather I independently came to a scumread of him, then I saw the connection with you and was trying to evaluate whether that was likely teammate indicative or not, and yes I was probably confbiased on it but it's not like my scumread of him is only dependent on you.

Well see that's what I thought and I was shut down :p

    Nice, I like this thought.

I had no trouble believing the reasons were real. Can you articulate why you felt otherwise?

Was there any evidence Vaimes picked up the read from Amy? He didn't say anything about that.
