Really sorry about the double post, but zomgwtflulzbbq!!!!!!!!!11 Watch the show, it is full of Hiro.
The "Haitian is more powerful than Hiro" stuff was bullshit, but there was some very cool stuff. Sylar is Nathan. Peter has fire powers, Sylar has ice ones. Sylar killed DL, and can now walk through walls. In the future.

It was pretty obvious that Ando died. Considering all of the obvious changes, and the not-so-obvious changes, it's completely impossible to disrupt the space-time continuum. Ergo, the season ends with
Peter Petrelli destroying NY and the Haitian erasing Hiro's memory of the future.

Holy shit Hiro made Peter's scar. I definitely hadn't guessed that a week ago.

    HIRO RULES OVER ALL!

    Where'd you see that at?

Ando needs to fucking die. Now. The constant gay as hell interactions between him and Hiro ruin the belief that Hiro really could grow into a badass character. Hiro was funny for awhile, but now that we've seen what he's supposed to grow into, him constantly playing the comic relief isn't believable anymore.

The whole future episode was the shit. Couldn't stand Jessica, but at least Peter's grown up. I felt cheated we didn't get to see a fight though

I'm crossing my fingers that the future that they saw is inevitable, but that
Hiro somehow isn't dead. Or if he is dead, then his sister comes in to take his place in the show.

    JJ

    PS
If Hiro thought that the exploding man was Sylar, and he thought that he had slashed up Sylar, who could heal, then he slashed up Peter, who could heal. Presumably, the scar was made because his sword is special. Which is possible because of the symbol on the sword which appears . . . everywhere.

It does seam that the future is unstoppable, but only after it has been painted. We do not know what is in that last comic book...

    Edit:

They do seam like a couple, don't they.

What can I do about that? I'm not about to change it to suit your needs :)

I pretty much like ero-sennin so he will stay there! Doesn't mean I'm a perv, just that I like his character.

Well since everyones posting.....there is no proof that the scar on Peter's face is because of Hiro. Also Sylar hasn't absorbed Claire .... so Hiro slashing him doesn't mean anything with or without the 'special' symbol.

As japanese_jew mentioned before Sylar's command power didn't work, .... simple he didnt absorb her brain. She blew it out using a gun so he doesnt have that power. A glitch in the storyline I think.

It isn't . . . obvious what's happening with that. There are a few options.

    1) He has a weaker version of her power.
    2) He thinks that he has the power, but he doesn't.
    3) He can do the voice but not use the power.
    4) He has the power, but it doesn't work when you're in a certain frame of mind (read: you understand your mortality.)
    5) ????
    6) Profit!

I'm pretty sure it's because of Hiro. It's pretty strongly alluded to it, considering that future!Hiro says, "I stabbed Sylar, but he had killed the cheerleader, and regenerated." (Paraphrase. I don't think he actually says stab)

Considering that Peter has the ability of regeneration, but Sylar doesn't
(until the end of the ep)
, it's pretty safe to say that Hiro has, in the past, stabbed Peter viciously, especially since they mention that
Nathan covered up for Peter being the bomb

We know that Peter doesn't have the scar before he gets regenerative abilities, which means that something weird must have happened for him to get a scar. I suggest that the weird sign denotes "Mutant Killer".

Evidence: Jessica has the sign on her back. Her power is well suited to killing mutants, and she nearly gets DL and Parkman. [IMG]

The Haitian's necklace. The Haitian is obviously the perfect anti-mutant (it's sort of an x-man term, but there isn't really another word for them).

It's also on Hiro's Katana, which if it fits with my (admittedly sparse) evidence, can be used to damage so much that it's difficult to heal with regenerative abilities. It would reveal why he carries it around despite a gun being more useful.

    First of all:
Sylar does not have the command power - Eden destroyed her brain so he couldn't use it.

    Also:
Future Hiro's meddling in the timeline changed it from Sylar killing Claire (thus being invincible) and blowing up later, to Peter saving Claire, becoming immortal and blowing up later.

Seems to me that the future is immutable but the way it got to that point isn't. Someone is going to blow up New York City, probably Peter, but still possibly Sylar if Hiro manages to fuck up the timeline in new and inventive ways.

I don't know about this whole... Hiro slashed up Peters face thing.

You have to remember, as far as we know the future is very changeable...

    Proof:

    1) Peters vision when he was in the comma(presumably using the painters pre-cog) show shim nukeing all the other heroes as well, which include hiro, nathan DL, parkman... blah blah. Perhaps hiro teleported away or stopped time but peter specificly sees whats her face get nuked instead of shot.

2)As the online novels show, Future Hiro actually went back and saved the cheerleader. thus changing the future...

This whole buisness with you can't change the past seems like a load of bull, more likely Hiro subconciously thought he couldn't and wouldn't let himself.
Or maybee changing the past is a little trickier for hiro's powers than just traveling to and from it. Future hiro does describe there being a chance of a rift or something formiing... Although that could be his latent scifi geek cropping up...

His powers did work in vegas before he got the sword, The sword probably has no real power whatsoever, and it is his crutch. It's probably a way for the writers to talk about the heroes in the past. they were hinting at major events being twarted by these special individuals... like moments of calm and then world shaping events where some group of individuals stepped up.

Peter probably got the scar via the hatian man blocking his powers, and then getting slashed in the face. Perhaps he is captured and forced to heal naturally, and his super healing doesnt kick in to fix it as its already healed normally.

To your first point. We just don't know what he does with the brains. He doesn't absorb watches, but he knows how they work. In fact, that could be his ability. To figure out how things work by looking at them. It's possible that although she greatly damaged her brain, the parts that were necessary for that specific ability were still there, and he could fill in the rest with other abilities, like in Jurassic Park.

To your second point. That meddling could have been like the meddling in HP. He doesn't know that Claire is still alive, but she clearly is. Hiro thinks that Sylar blew up. So does everyone else. Peter and Nathan know otherwise.

    Quazijoe:

    1) The painter doesn't have precog, he paints the future, he doesn't see it. Therefore, it was probably something different. Maybe a subset of Peter's original ability to take abilities from other people. Remember Peter in old black dude's dream? Probably the same thing.

    2) I answered this in my reply to Aekiel's comment. However, if you see the new Heroes ep,
    Sylar has broken the sword
so it's possible that you can change things without the Harry Potter thing. Unless his dad can forge steel, which is entirely possible.

Yes, I've always thought that the sword was a crutch (and he can still teleport after
    it's broken
which lends credence to that theory) but it could also have a special power. The sign is still a little suspicious, especially considering that Lenderman had it.

Hiro tried his damn hardest to change the past with Charlie.

Hmm, the haitian concept seems to work, except that I'd think that he'd pick up the haitian's abilities. That seems to be a plot hole.

I got a question. It's a little confusing. When the future Hero said Peter saved the cheerleader to Benette (I think that was the name, the father of the cheerleader) he was surprised and decided to help. Everyone in the future though she died because Syler cut up her head and gained healing powers. Whats more, she didn't die and she is in hiding. This is where it gets confusing. In the comic book, it shows a picture of Hero stabbing Syler but he came back.

Now, does he have a healing power or not. Whats even more confusing was that In the end of the latest episode, Syler and i quote "I've been waiting a long time for this." something along the lines he said that to the cheerleader (i suck with names so sue me).

This leads to believe that he doesn't have healing powers. Something is messed up.

Thats exactly how it is. Picking out the brains and sees how they tick. "Finding out how they tick" is his special ability. Which is funny since all Peter has to do is stand near people to learn there powers. Which leads me to believe that he has a better power.

It took me a bit but This is how I understand it...

Major spoiler warning... I'm not even going to bother with the the spoiler tags this time.

    ********

Originally, Sylar goes and kills the cheerleader, (eating her brains I suspect)
see coment the little girl made in the latest episode...

He also goes and kills sprague(sp) thus absorbing his powers.

Hiro in the end is with him during the final moments before he blows up the world, where he stabs him through the chest with his fancy little sword.

For a moment hiro thinks he's succeaded and killed sylar, but then sylar come back and blows up anyway. (chearleader power)

Hiro teleports away, presumbably ando is already dead, giving hiro the motivation to try and off sylar in the first place.

The rest of the future takes place, The heroes are seen as terrorists, somehow claires healing ability keeps sylar alive, and he kills nathan and becomes president.

somewhere along the line, future hiro emerges, and figures out the timeline.
He goes back and tells peter to save claire, thus making sylar killable when he gets stabbed.

The past is changed but as future hiro was doing the time traveling he still only has memories of his timeline, and thus knows nothing of the other timeline that now exists because claire is still alive.

...because past hiro goes into the future, the past sylar is still alive, as presumably until hiro goes back, the explosion will still happen.

The difference this time is, instead of sylar going boom like last time, it was peter, as he was the one with sprague's power and claires healing.

Future hiro who did the time traveling doesn't know this as he only retains memories from his timeline, I don't remember present hiro ever being present for a conversation where they discover peter has the potential to explode so he shouldn't know this as well.

As to your comment about bennet. In the new timeline, he strikes a deal with parkman to protect claire at all costs, and others that he deems safe.

Somehow, everyone believes she is dead, and he lets them, but he actually betrays ando and future hiro to parkman, as part of his deal to keep her alive. It all sounds very bennet to me.

so to sum up. sylar kills claire and exploding man, then goes boom.
future hiro tells peter to save claire

new time line is forged, and peter is the one that goes boom.
future hiro doesn't know the details.

And apparently somehow isacc foresaw all this in his comic book thing.

Actually. In the future. It never was Sylar that went boom. It was Peter all the way. We have seen previously that no matter what Hiro does he can't save one person as it will drastically change the timelines, so how will he manage to save a million?

The serial is currently going into an age-old debate of survival of the fittest. People are evolving now nature has to decide between two of its experiments..... Peter v/s Sylar. Both have similiar powers. both are efficient. Now it remains to be decided which one is fitter.

About the Dream thing I'd say it was intuition.

About Sylar's powers the brains is missing in each case. So unless he has them preserved in formalin I say there is a god chance that he has eaten them. Also if a clock were smashed there would be no way of deciphering its working without knowing its working before hand. So Sylar piecing things together Eden's power seems a bit off.

Actually no, sylar did go boom. You have to follow the comic strip as well on the nbc website.

in the original timeline peter would never have been able to survive the explosion without claires healing abilities, but because claire lived, peter had a chance to absorbe them.

Though I suppose it is possible for peter to gain it from sylar at some point...

Peter only went boom in the new timeline that future hiro, present hiro, and ando traveled to.

And hiro did save one person, because in the end he saved the cheerleader... proving isaccs paints can be wrong as he draws claire having her brains scooped out early on. Although he did it through getting someone from that timeline to save her for him. I think thats the key... he can't change things when he is displaced from his actual present point in time, thats when his powers go all wonky... but if he gets someone who is actually a part of that timeline to do it, its possible...

its very complex and there are so many ways that It could go wrong but thats what it seems like to me.

Quazijoe, I'm assuming that you're referring to Comic #30, string theory, which is based around future!Hiro. Future!Hiro thinks that Sylar goes boom. So does everyone else in the world. It's the same thing as what happens in Harry Potter. The past isn't changed. Nexus is right. More things would be different if Claire was dead. Bennet would probably be less willing to work with the government. He probably does that so that he can keep an ear out for when people know where she is and tell her to move.

The little girl also says that the bogey man eats brains, but she must not have been at home--her ability couldn't have protected her from Sylar. It's never explicitly stated how he uses the ability. That's an interesting question.

However, assuming that he can't use Eden's ability, where does the voice come from?

JJ you disaapoint me. We have seen the girl way before the latest episodes. She was very much at home when her parents were killed, only Sylar didn't find her. pressurize the muscle upstairs.

Just finished seeing ep21 finally. Lindermann once said to Nathan that there was a group of them that was trying to help the world. They were all special. I wanna know what Nathan's mother's powers are.

I am guessing that the voice was a minor glitch that the script-writer forgot about.

I also wanna know how Lindermann plans to use Mica to "save" the world.

Apart from that did Hiro just get pwnted or what!!! :p

I might be wrong then, but I thought by the way they showed hiro and sylar in the same panel when he exploded meant that it was him in the original timeline.

Anyway, the voice may actually be something he picked up from other heroes... you know how there is some cross over in powers, like sylar has some kind of minor regeneration because he survived getting slugged by that fbi womens bullets a ways back... and claire has the uber healing power.

in the new comics they have a guy who can fly and shoot lightning, while nathan can just fly... and sylar and peter have kinda the same power, where they can steal others powers.

the voice is probably a milder version of edens powers from some other hero. Though we don't actually know if sylar ate edens brain... they never show her head I don't think.

and even if he did, no one ever said that she was always a hundred percent succesful, maybee on some people it doesnt always work.
