ummm....Alright....Who else thinks the author needs to quit writing?

 

Is it just me or does it seem like the HP Community is getting more and more stranger crossovers?

Just this past day, I got an alert for a crossover with Vampires: The Masquerade.

 

Kill it! Kill it dead!

On a more realistic note, we're seeing more strange crossovers because everything in the fandom has been done. If you want to write an indy fic, it's either cliched to hell and back or crossed over with something. The crossover allows us to see old ideas with new twists and provides fresh content.

The problem with white wolf crossovers (VtM WtA MtA CtD WtO MtR etc...) is self inserts. How long can an author resist putting in their rpg character when you cross over into the world of darkness? It probably has a better reason to be there than Harry does so what's the harm right?

 

This really sunk my ship... It had went from weird to bizarre... And I thought most of the fics on FF.net were hopeless...

*writes on Post-it "Never, ever, read that fic..." and goes around sticking it everywhere in the room*

 

Wasn't there a fic were Harry did (implied?) Hogwarts in the ROR?

 

Way to necro.

And did I read that right? Rugrats smut? I swear I would feel a chill right now if I wasn't wearing a sweater.
