The Beta server.

 

I have joined the Alpha server, mostly because it seemed like the beta server was in a huge mess and didnt want to be a part of it. Have requested to join the guild.

 

It's actually just the opposite. The guild is more structured and the alliance offers more support.

I still have an alpha account and build it up as best I can, though.

 

lol No the oppisite. Alpha was abandoned by pretty much everyone, we have no treaties or any power there.

Beta I've gotten us hooked up with some players, we're viewed as diplomatic ambassadors, and I talk to around 10 folks daily there.

There's a couple of folks that are being numbnuts out of feeling slighted that keep bothering us, but we're strong enough to deal with them without issue.

 

This is the thing that Relena from Ragnarok Online Empire runs, or is trying to, isn't it?

ahh - I started in B00 before I figered out all the action was in the higher galaxies.

Still, ive started a beachhead in B22 and have just hit the top 600 in econ and the top 1000 in fleet.

 

I'm 230 in tech ;] My eco is small = 1700

 

Still room in Beta server, the new servers just for new folks who want to start from scratch.

I recommend still coming to Beta server and joining ODK, as we're pretty set up atm

 

In three days I have over 110 total income and 3 bases -- am I headed in the right direction? I'm spending a good deal of time on this game, so hopefully I am.

 

I started a few days ago. I'm not sure where to base my second base though; there's a moon planet that seems pretty promising, due to the 3 metal, but for now I'm just building up my first base, since I'm not sure how much almost no fertility is going to affect me. I'll probably start my second one on a planet like the one I'm on, and maybe my third one on a moon if I can get a response.

 

Not that I've been playing very long (6 days, but I have an 5 bases, an economy of 235 and an hourly income of 321) but I think the best advice, if you want to boost your econ, is to go after Asteroids. They have 2 Crystals, which you can use early on, as well as 3 Metal. Build you some Metal Refineries early on and they develop pretty quickly.

Build Spaceports as often as you can too, then trade with either yourself or a close planet. You wouldn't believe how much that extra 10 credits an hour helps.

I'm sure Midknight or someone could help you better though.

EDIT: This is going to sound really retarded, but I have no idea HOW to make my second base. Help please?

 

I know this is a stupid question, but do any, ANY, of you still play in the alpha server.
It is because I got my home planet and two bases conquered by someone else since I am a noob and had weaker defenses than the attacker.
So now he has retreated, of his own will and asked me to join his guild.
And I was wondering if anyone still manages the DLP guild since I applied two days ago and have not been added.
