Bought the game today. Hopped into the server and met Otters. He waved at me. I do not know how to wave back.

 

Hey Everyone, progress in Valheim on the DLP server is coming along nicely. We've reached the point of taking on the third boss, Bonemass. If you're available jump online and come help us put him back in his grave.

 

Is this going to make base raids harder? If so, can we not kill the third boss for a bit? Most of us are not prepared for what is happening now, let alone any increase in difficulty. There is still some without full upgraded bronze gear (like myself), let alone Iron. Troll raids alone will probably destroy most of our bases (minus Jon) if there aren't enough geared up people to stop them, as they are all primarily wood. We really need to start getting a stock pile of Iron and Bronze before moving on up.

 

Someone did it like three days ago solo, we have been having swamp raids occasionally. Honestly trolls are worse, swamp raids you can run away from easily.

Havoks hubris almost got us killed, 4 of us didnt even do 10% damage on Bonemass, so no worries about killing him, we are no where near ready....

 

I just beat Bonemass a little while ago (single player) with a load of help from three 1 star wolves that decided to have 2 puppies right after teleporting to the summoning area. So RIP those poor cubs.

They drew aggro until he was around 1/4th HP when he killed the last one. He went down easy after that.

I seem to have misplaced my bronze lvl e pants. If anyone finds a pair I may have put in a chest or left on your bedroom floor please let me know.

Unfortunately I think someone on our server already beat him solo. @Jon: is that right? Sleep-deprivation memory is failing me

 

Yeah someone did, I’ve been swamp raided three times. Honestly the troll raids are much worse. Skeletons and axe guys are easy by comparison.

Finished base renovation for now. Starting swamp and iron grind tomorrow

 

Yep. Once you defeat the Elder you start getting swamp raids. Bonemass will stop swamp raids and start Drake Air Raids.

 

Rip my stats. I have died maybe 6 times
Today in swamps, mostly to oozes. Now my corpse is fucking miles away from anything. Later today I’ll need a corpse run escort is someone can.

EDIT: Never mind, did the mother of all corpse sprints. If you ever need to run miles for your stuff... honey. It gives you mad stamina regin, I was maked running through the black forest and swamp and almost never had to stop to regain stamina and never got hit.

 

Been playing this game for a week or so.

Got killed on my first excursion into the Swamp. A bunch of leeches attacked my raft and insta gibbed me as soon as it broke.

Tried running back for my corpse but it's surrounded by a wreith, bunch of draugrs and a pack of skeletons. Plus the leeches are still there. Lost all my gear, backup gear and whatever I could craft for the third and fourth corpse run.

So I'm pretty much done with this game. I can't face grinding any more freeking copper.
