At the beginning of the pandemic my mates and I started playing Warhammer 40k through Tabletop Simulator, partly because we couldn't meet up in person and partly because it's cheaper to have a coke habit than collect GW miniatures (I've so far managed to resist the urge and have just bought rulebooks and the likes).

That group has since dwindled to the point where we barely play anymore but I'm getting more and more into the game.

But I figured there'd have to be people on here who'd be up for playing. Any takers?

I play Tyranids and Dark Angels for the most part, though I've experimented with Sisters a bit.

EDIT: If anyone has ever wanted to get into the game but never bothered before, I'm up for teaching it as well.

 

One could say I play a fair amount of 40k on TTS. I'm pretty active in a couple of discord servers, and if you've been on the Sisters discord you'll probably have seen me around.

I actually recently installed TTS, with the intent of using it to learn to play WH40K. I'd be down for whatever as long as it's clear that I'm new.

Which armies do you both play, out of interest? (I'm assuming Sisters and Ultramarines)

 

I might give it a try once I am back home. I haven't played in ages and even back when only a couple of low point games.

 

Correct. There's a bunch of armies that interest me, but at the moment I'm trying to figure out A) general game rules and B) Ultramarine specifics, like stratagems, unit usage etc.

 

Cool. We'll get some games in and you'll pick it up pretty quickly. TTS also has the advantage of allowing you to pick up and drop armies as and when you please.
