Unrelated: So this fuckery with Baal's ult not working with Beidou or Electro Traveler seems to be causing a significant uproar, even on CN. Not entirely sure it will be enough to get Mihoyo to listen (i.e. Zhongli), but maybe some Electro buffs/reworks are on the horizon.

Also unrelated: I didn't think it was possible to make a character clunkier than Amber, but yeah, Sara kinda sucks ass. You skill, which jumps you backward, then you shoot to apply a delayed party buff, then you have to dash back in to take advantage of buff, destroying your charge shot spam time while buff is up, and the buff is altogether too short for quickswap teams.

Someone in the dev team was drunk.

 

Key word being clunky, I don't think she sucks. I haven't bothered yet because of said clunkyness, (and with how fucking short her attack buff is), but the skill interaction with her charged shot is straight up trolling.

You're an archer, why don't we make the atk buff trigger in an AoE around where your arrow hits?!

I don't quite get the furor around Baal's burst attacks not triggering Beidou's burst. It doesn't make sense given other interactions, but I'm way more annoyed that it doesn't snapshot tbh. Esp with Sara's stupidly short lasting buff.

 

Lost 50/50 to my first Diluc on 79 wishes. Looking back I have ever won 1 50/50 out of 5, so decided I'll save my guarantee for something actually good, even if I like Baal.

Locking Sakura at lvl 30 is so weird. I barely touched 1 island and the other is like 45% and I'm already done.

 

I was so excited to hand in like 200 electro sigils at once and it only went up one more level...

Why lock it? It makes no sense...

I did a dumb thing and pulled some more to get r2 Engulfing Lightning. I have zero use for the damn claymore and I luckily didn't pull it when getting the first.......


Never punished though. The extra refine bumped her attack from 2430 to 2570 unbuffed...

Sitting at 70% crit, 82% crit D, 297% ER, 78% electro damage.

I'd really like to get her critD to 120 to be 'perfect,' some of my arts rolled so well though that it'll be a struggle to ever replace.

I've got no critD on helm, so that's the easiest one, but I'll need a crit% helm with both crit dmg at 20% and ER (at around 10%) to be satisfied.

Can squeeze out more on the atk% goblet too, which should be easier given it's offset.

Only need 3 more Signora mats to get lvl 10 burst too. I am excite.

 

I tried playing on ps4 today for the first time to get my Aloy. The graphics are gorgeous, but holy shit is that direction button char swapping function awful. Never again.

 

Yeah I've been playing on ps5 recently for a bunch of reasons (mainly my couch being comfy and my pc being dogshit). Took a long while to get used to, and I'm still not 100% comfy doing abyss 12 on a controller yet.

I feel like the camera is way worse too? Maybe I'm more sensitive to it bc it's harder to control but i feel like I'm way too zoomed in half the time....

 

The one thing I wish ps5 has is the option to switch to a character and immediately use their skills. It would help quick swap teams so much.

By the way what does everyone think of Raiden amidst the backlash? How is she doing with damage and battery for you?

Edit: I'm personally not sure yet. I still haven't completed her build so I can't speak on damage. Im using her with eula and she makes everything smoother, constant superconduct is great but the burst only seems to be restoring 30% energy for party members which seems a bit low.

 

I don't have anything except her ER at the right levels currently so her damage is trash.. Gear is mostly shit and talents aren't built because she needs fucking handguards for literally everything.

But that said, she batteries much better than Fischl does.

 

Mine is pretty jacked, I think I've already said her stats, but I'll repeat. Around 2550 atk, 70% crit, 80% critD, 297% ER, 80% Electro Dmg, R2 EL wep. Lvl 8 Burst. C4.

Her burst hits like a fucking truck. Around 150k with Max resolve stacks. Then 20k autos after.


Would i say no to a buff? No. She's not broken and I want booba sword to be broken, but it's not necessary.

The only thing I'd personally change is her burst's interaction with Beidou's and having it snapshot.


The thing that DOES need buffs is Electro in general. The resonance and reactions. My ideas:

• I'd make electro resonance 30% critD to enemies under the effects of electro.
• Electro charge needs to do a lot more damage. Maybe even more than pyro reactions, but as a dot, so over time.
• Overload needs to be redesigned. Maybe it's a counter that charges up on enemies with constant application (say 6), where it will then 'overload' and explode for big AoE dmg.

But yeah, those are my thoughts.

 

Ended up pulling Raiden, which took me 160 pulls. Not very happy about that. Completely out of pulls, I even spent my starglitter and genesis crystals from welkin I'd been saving for a new costume. Only 2 Sara too.

Welp, I'm skipping Kokomi and all reruns.

 

I have a Homa on him, so I run Noblesse/Petra. You get so much damage out of it, it'd be a shame to run him only as a shield bot. If I had to use a 4* weapon on him, I'd be more likely to go Millelith. I think I'd still go Geo goblet and Crit circlet on him, though, unless I planned on never using his burst. The animation is quite long, and it might be a dps loss if it did pathetic damage, and the shield is really beefy even without a full support setup. I am running a HP sands with my setup with a bit hybrid flavor, though.

The more you invest in characters, the less useful full support builds become. People eventually mostly transitioned from a ER/HP/Healing% Bennett to a Pyro/Crit one, right? Same with Venti, people realized he does crazy damage and started building him as more of a sub dps (before the EM buff). Zhongli can do good enough damage to warrant a dps build, especially with constellations.

My personal opinion is that the full support build is a 3* Black Tassel copium build.

 

I have him on full, fuck dmg HP build with Black Tassel.

Why wouldn't I play the game on EZ mode with 30k HP shields? lol. More important the interrupt protection...

He has 55k HP for me and that's pretty much all I care about lol.







I might have C6'd Raiden too...

Tempted to whale a little to get at least C2, but I think I will refrain. It's just too much money when C0 is more than good enough for the only comp she really shines in. She's stacking an extra 90k on my Eula's burst, and she's getting Benny Diona and Eula to full recharge in literally 1 rotation.

I will never have trouble with physical dps checks again.

 

Its nice to have these banners you can safely skip. Not interested in Kokomi and already c6'd the 4 stars I want out of that banner.

I'll save for the rumoured ganyu rerun next banner.
