I've been thinking for a while that challenge content like this and like spiral abyss should award something other than gacha currency so people don't feel uber compelled to finish it, but there is still a significant reward for those that do.

Like, maybe coupons for adeptal currency that would let you fully clear out the weekly teapot shop instead of only partially clearing it.

100 pulls for a c1 Hu Tao, and I have a Homa already.

Guess I'm a Hu Tao main now.

 

I had some pity built up and wanted to try getting Homa. 10 pull and get Elegy. Not like I don't already have like 5 lvl 90 bows. I have a bow problem and then I look at my abyss team and see no bow characters...

 

I have way too many bows as well. I use Rust on my Childe, even though I have both Polar Star and Thundering Pulse. His artifacts are just so horribly off that Rust does more damage. I’m currently in the process of getting good Shimenawa pieces, but my luck is garbage.

I’m only on like 10 pity for both the character and weapon banners. I don’t really need Hu Tao, but she’s one of the only 5 star characters I don’t have. Choices, choices.

 

Is c1 elegy better than c5 stringless on Venti?

 

Stringless will give you significantly higher Venti swirl damage, but Elegy will give you more active character damage.

So it depends on what you want out of him. If he is just there to be a VV support buffer in your melt/vape comps, then Elegy all the way. But if you're running him as a swirl/VV sub-dps for some other comp, like electrospam or freeze then Stringless.

 

I think I'm giving it to Sara. Ignore the paltry 100 EM and commit to her being Raiden's little buff bot.

Should stack with Noblesse and it should be pretty easy to proc for a c6 Sara, provided the spreading lightning counts as instances of damage too...

It's 8 seconds with a long cooldown. Feels pretty bad when compared to zhongli and diona.

 

I think there's confusion here. He was talking about Thoma's shield, not Sara's buff, right?

Regardless, he looks utterly uninteresting to me (sigh, what a waste of a husbando). I was tempted to roll just for his non-combat stuff, but i'll get him eventually regardless.

And yeah, @Ched One doesn't 'play' Sara, one only subs her in and presses Q to make Boobasword happy. It's honestly a joke how short her buff is, but I'm long past the point of expecting the developers to play their own game and realize how bad some characters feel to play /shrug.

 

Yeah I was talking about Thoma. 8 second skill shield duration and 8 second burst shield duration. I threw a yolo 10 roll at Hu Tao and snagged him.


Sara also feels like shit though. 6 second buff is infuriating and without C6 she is garbage.

 

Should I put Homa on my Xiao or keep R3 Deathmatch? I'm sporting 80 crit and 165 crit damage on Xiao with Deathmatch.

If it doesn't go on Xiao it goes to Thoma, and Thoma kinda sucks ngl.

 

Homa and PJWS are pretty close from memory for Xiao, both are incredible. I'm using my Homa on Rosaria given cryo can crit dmg stack, but if I didn't have PJWS, I'd def use Homa on Xiao.

Despite how fun it is to say 'I'm using Homa on Thoma.'
