No point playing a game if you're not having fun anymore. That said, I think you've probably whaled enough that you could never roll again and you'd still be able to clear any new content easily. I'm welkin/bp only and I'm basically at that point (barring reliable 36 star clears in spiral).

My advice is to take a nice long break, and if you're still casually interested in the game, just go f2p / light spender, and only pull C0s for your favorite new waifu/husbandos.

The design and art team carries this game. Meanwhile, the writers and combat design teams are wiping their asses on their computer screens and calling it a finished product.

 

Wow. This abyss cycle's Floor 12 can suck my ass. Wolves and corrosion out the wazoo. And triple maguu kenki in one wave?! That's just fucking sadistic.

I managed to nab 33 stars by the skin of my teeth.

 

I found it much easier than quite a few of the previous iterations. First try 36 stars and I even messed up my teams as I forgot that wolves are kinda different element wise. So my geo tank team (Albedo/Noelle/ZL/Venti) took on the electro woles instead of the geo that work better. Would be better for the maguu kenki too as I had no shields on my other team (Benny/XL/XQ/Scrose) and almost got 1 shot a few times.

 

Tried Itto in the tutorial. I do not like his attacks. Like, at all.

Meanwhile, C6Gorou/Albedo/Zhongli and Raiden/Bennet is redonculous.

 

Yeah, I don't try to target 4 stars anymore after my Rosaria disaster. They'll come home eventually.

From preliminary testing, I think Itto is stronger than Xiao. C0r1, with 4 geo with c6 Gorou, the total dps is probably around c0r1 Hu Tao team level?

I'm guessing that Itto is gonna be a bit below Ganyu/Hu Tao/Ayaka, but above Eula and Xiao. So he might take 4th place. But it's still too early to say for sure.

Itto's constellations are also quite strong, like almost Eula strong. So he can probably scale above Ganyu and Hu Tao that way. And since Gorou is so married to him (thanks a lot for this 4* design Mihoy -_-), Gorou's c6 is quite big for Itto too.

C2r1 Itto with c6 Gorou is another 'sweet spot' Mihoyo was probably aiming for.

I got Itto and c5 Gorou in 90 pulls (lucky). I'm hoping for c6 Gorou before the banner ends.

I kinda stopped playing mid inazuma. Are they just throwing non shield enemies at you now?

 

4 geo (Gorou/Zhongli/Albedo) and 3 geo + Bennett are his best teams, but Bennett is probably on the other team. I think he needs 3 geo, though, because Gorou. I suppose you can technically just use 2 geo for the resonance, but that's some copium team.

Current abyss is indeed geo and Itto favored, which is why it's a bit hard to tell just how good he is. Because the moment you have herald/lector + abyss mage shields in the same chamber, mono geo starts looking like ass. That's always going to be geo's caveat, though it looks like Itto's burst breaks shields quite well. Just not as good as a proper counter element.

 

You're not going to be hitting C0 Ayaka/Ganyu Morgana comp damage with a C0 itto geo team no. His C6 version (a pipedream for most fiscally responsible people) is incredibly strong though. Talking C6 eula levels.

As for party:

Mililith zhongli/albedo, Noblesse gorou, husk itto, and whoever you want as a fourth. I would do Raiden, zhongli/albedo, or Bennet. Bennet for sure if your gorou is not C4 at least.

 

Tried Itto in the Abyss. The chamber clears for side 1 with him were 65, 50 and 90 seconds. With Raiden national on the other side, it was a pretty easy one try 36* (though Raiden died against triple Kenki a few times, then cleared it in 45 seconds lol).

Generally speaking, the feel is that it's about on par to slightly slower than Hu Tao/Ganyu/Ayaka. With really garbage artifacts and only c5 Gorou. If I fix those, the comp basically feels meta level. Though we'll have to see what it's like in future Abyss with elemental shields.

A huge part of Abyss is compatibility. Teams with the same general power level can have 50% difference in clear times depending on the enemy composition. Like Raiden can clear triple Kenki in 40 seconds, while Ayaka took something like 120. And how Ayaka could kill double primos in 20 seconds, while Itto and Hu Tao took 40+. Against the big dogs, Ayaka kinda sucks, but then she's amazing against Herald/Lector.

 

Yes. It's probably the overall strongest comp in the game, though with some caveats (you need all four bursts up, so if you mess up your rotation between chambers it can be rough, and you can't facetank as much as a Zhongli comp). It clears Abyss chambers in 1-3 rotations.

Being able to freely play Raiden national was part the reason I wanted to pull Itto. Since Raiden national steals all the premium 4*s, you were somewhat limited on what you could play on the other side. Mono geo neatly sidesteps that problem.
